Hi everyone. I write this because it is happening to me and maybe to others too... so:

What can you do if someone is clicking excessively on your AdSense ads?

I don't know who and why but someone started to click obsessively on Adsense ads on my website in order to block my account.

Already the ad account is restricted from showing more ads.

I've seen with Statcounter that this "person" is using a VPN I think because I get repetitive clicks from Ireland and US ips

I have blocked all the ips from the US and Ireland but i think i've blocked also some ips from Google because they now don't see my ads.txt file now.

What can be done in a situation like this? If someone starts to take down websites one by one using VPNS is it possible?

Have someone here encountered a problem like this? How did you solve it?

This isn't a solution because ads are already not showing and google says it takes about 30 days for them to "analyze and understand the traffic" and maybe reinstate the ads which now are stopped for invalid traffic.
So I have to wait about a month, then google might show ads again, and then he/she visit again the website next month and everything starts all over again, and I wait for months and generate no revenue...

Google randomly shows 1 ad to a few people because I see a few normal clicks in Statcounter (even if ads are not showing on the website) but revenues are 0.

I have blocked yesterday all the ips from the US and Ireland and tried to remove them today. After just one hour he/she begun again to click the ads. So I have blocked again those ips and the "account is in the tree". Don't know what to do else.

The website is WordPress and I have found a plugin that might help but I'm not sure. It's called Advanced Ads GmbH by Thomas Maier. Has anybody tried this? Any other idea? If this is so simple to close someones Adsense account it might happen tomorrow to anyone of you.

If one really want to go that deep with you, you have nothing to do, leave the website.

If just some randomly bad guys, you can try some Wordpress click bomb plugin which can prevent click ads repetitively, maybe plugins have more options like block same person even they change IPs?

I built a website targeting 5 keywords which have more that 300,000+ searches/month and have very low competition.

Once my website got to the first page of Google i started receiving lot of traffic but after few days i started receiving lot of clicks on the Ads. CTR is very high and followed by an email from Adsense team.

I think competitor for the keywords did that so that i will remove the website once i can't earn money out of it.

OP try using cloudflare and block VPN entirely

You can see some websites that's if someone use VPN/Proxy, it would state you are blocked from accessing this website through a VPN something like this

I met so many sites like this, but most of them won't prompt you because you are using VPN that caused you banned, but yeah, I think this method is very effective, 99% real users won't use a VPN/Proxy.

It's not one. With every visit is another ip. I've blocked al us and ireland ips ...

So I want to post an update after installing the website on Cloudflare and added a few firewalls. Now I get more details about what is happening and maybe someone has a clue because I don't ...

In the user agent and IP address i get these lines:

so I've searched for this IP address and I get this response:

So .. I doubt that the spider is clicking the ads. Does anybody know what is really happening here?

Hi. First remove all Facebook like button codes from your website. If this doesn't solve the problem go in Cloudflare - Firewall - Create Firewall rule - Field ( select country ) - Value ( Ireland for example ) - Then choose an action ( Challenge captcha or even block all visits ). Now the visitors from the selected country are either blocked or they have to enter capctcha.
