Will the same files on a different domain cause a phishing warning from Google as well?

Hey,

Got a quick question. (Note: I do not perform phishing but only host Landing pages with a content locker on it. On none of my pages there is a way for a user to type in a password)

So lets say Website A has been flagged by Google for Phishing (The Red Warning Page), even tho it wasn't phishing, but whatever. What will happen if i just reuse the same files to host the landing page and create another Website (Website B) - Will Google recognize those files and automatically ban this site again?

Because in my case there has been a scenario where Website A has been flagged by Google, and just 1 Week after setting up Website B with the same files, it has been marked as phishing by Google again. Another question that comes to my mind. Since this is not phishing but only hosting a content locker on it, what are the chances that an appeal would actually get the red flag removed? Has anyone ever tried this?

Cant talk about the linking files case but for the Appeal case , i guess is easy and you claim it was hacked and used by an attacker.
Head to webmaster tools and they mention that the website is reported as it

Thank you, appealed both of them but i doubt it will help anything, especially if i decide to use them with the old files again.

Any other help for the other question above is appreciated.

I once had my site flagged for security issues (not exactly phishing) because I used popup ads and there is some js code left after removing them. Google flagged the site for that specific code. I have to fix everything and then appealed. It was accepted within a few days and never had any issues after that incident.

But phishing is a lot more serious concern. You should check why Google flagged it in the first place (whether due to code or user reports). You should fix anything if you can and then appeal. If you appeal without fixing anything, then Google staff will ignore your subsequent appeals which makes things worse for you.

Google likely stores a hash of the files that triggered the warning, this is how 99% of antiviruses work. So the least you could do is edit a few strings in the file so it has a different hash value.

Though it's possible it's tracking more than the hash.

No reason for them to deny if you have removed the files on that domain, however i can’t promise domain will not get flagged again. Maybe try to use a cloaker, if the project is worth it

I am not sure if this will help you or not in the past I had a friends website where I someone reported it for phishing all I did was present prove back to Google email showing the person or business did not do anything wrong or illegal and I disproved the things they said such as they claimed" the site is used to steal people bank details" I pretended prove back to Google showing non of that happened all and since I have bit of Law degree I give myself a bit of title which seemed to help I suspect since then they now believe I was in theory full out right Lawyer which you could maybe use depending if Google ever changing silly rules make my idea not work anymore.

Lucky I found this thread. My website with LP and content locker has been flagged by G for phishing.

Did you move all the LP to another domain or just delete the reported one?
