Issue with sitemap.xml in Google Search Console

Hi guys,

I am facing an issue with my sitemap.xml file in search console this is the first time i got this issue. Please check the screenshots below. I have submitted my sitemap but i think google is not reading my sitemap kidly check the screenshot to clearly understand this issue.

Can anyone help me with this issue.

You should identify the problem. Open your sitemap URL in a browser and check if it's normally loading. If your sitemap is fine, then it could be a bug in Google. If your sitemap is not loading or showing some error, then you should fix it.

what plugin you are using to create the sitemap?

what other plugins you are using in your site?

Hey this issue is not new, typically the site quality is low, or no backlinks, so give it more time, grow it and hope, nothing you can do.

It's showing absolutely okay just like every other site sitemap shows. It show no error nothing.

I completely understand by why suddenly google dropped all pages from submitted and indexed option to zero.

If your new posts are getting indexed I think there is no need to worry about it. It is not an absolute requirement to generate a Sitemap for indexing, irrespective of that, Google will for sure (if it thinks is worthy) will index your site/posts.

Is your sitemap listing correct urls?

http vs https?

www vs non-www ?

As I am seeing in your sitemap there is no issue, you should submit your sitemap at the other search engine like Bing and check there is any issue is coming or not. if you are getting same error also there then you should check this issue otherwise there is a Google bug.

Did you get a security certificate and change from http to https? Is google looking at or pointed at the wrong sitemap?
