My Experience with Hostinger after 2 years

Honestly; from experience don't go with the giants. Here in Sweden we have some real small hosting companies that are wonderful. Yeah, you have to pay 30€/mo, but when you have 10+ sites that monthly is really no biggie. Plus they honestly care qbout their customers (they don't have many), and the ones here in Sweden know what matter. They're IMers themselves, so sitespeed etc is their top prio. I'm sure there are similar ones overseas as well.

Their support doesn't know the basic redirect  what they can do on complicated issues, better move with another hosting when it expires

My friend has Bluehost hosting, and he didn't have to face any such redirect issue. It was with hostinger only. Sadly I had bought it for 4 years, and it still has 2 more years to expire. I have already started learning AWS for future projects.

Transfer your website to another host and ask for a refund.

they have 30 days refund policy, and I have been using it for 2 years cant do anything regarding a refund now

I had bought this when I was new to blogging, but after some time, I lost the motivation to continue blogging as I was not too fond of writing posts, but now, after watching some successful journey threads here, I am thinking to continue it with some new niche.

Years ago I went with HostGator being a noob and learned all about EIG.
Terrible! As for Hostinger, hate to say it but my experience sucked.

Slow and a lot of server access errors.
What's EIG?

List of hosting you should avoid unless you paid +1000$/m to get their dedicated support which in this case scenario, Bigscoot, Siteground and WPEngine will be much better

Try Cloudways. They have fantastic support and you can host your sites on any cloud provider you want without any technical knowledge. They support Google cloud, Amazon AWS, Linode, Vultr, and Digital Ocean. I've been hosting with them for over a year and I've only good things to say about them.

They do all the heavy lifting for you and they aren't expensive.

Actually, they are right, you paid for hosting, not web dev support or configuration. That is a different service and can't be included in the base price.

It's like buying a car and then asking to drive it for you.

Or buying PC and then asking the cashier to install windows or MS word.

But but other hosting companies provide such supports, and the OP asked for a basic query so it should be resolved

and it was an issue with their service. No other hosting user had to face such an issue. I asked in many WordPress groups on Facebook, but they didn't have to do anything to set up that kind of redirect

They are really bad, I tried them and they are the worst hosting, I want all people to make videos about these guys and kinda expose them! They say free SSL in pricing page then then only offer 1 SSL while your hosting plan is of multiple sites and btw they use "Free CloudFlare SSL", then they say for pretty much everything "we can't do"! I HATE THEM!

I bought a laptop and the cashier installed Microsoft Word for me.

And were you able to solve the problem with the redirection? If not, send me a PM with more details. I might be able to help you out, for free ofc :)
I hope you can help me as well, I have a site which is hosted by hostinger

I paid for one year of hostinger. Shared hosting only but still they duped me with their marketing tricks. I feel so stupid because of that. Now I’ve messaged a lot of hosting companies posted here on BHW which have good reviews from junior vips and some other users. I’m sorry you paid for 4 years. I feel bad for the one year I paid for. I told them I discovered they post fake reviews and use affiliate marketing. I’ve used their hosting for a little over a month. They are making me wait 2 days for a decision on whether or not they will refund me.
