Maybe for big companies, paying monthly for accounting software...real corporate stuff sure.
but at the end of the day my company and my ex company paying for google package or dropbox...just so they can sync some files.
The syncing of files was the only option that was worth a monthly payment, and we would have been better off with a server in the office.
the retardation was the ex company paying FORTICLIENT like 2000$ a month for a server with a hardware firewall.
and that piece of shit program we needed 2 weeks to set it up.
Imagine paying a huge monthly tax for a hardware firewall device. Thats like me putting PEERBLOCK on a raspberry PI and charging you monthly.
And btw peerblock did switch to some block lists that became a monthly subscription.
At the end of the day microsoft suite and google suite were both garbage. using excel, word, "teams", calendar should not be a monthly subscription just because they sync files.
As for phone plans. They tried calling my grandfather 10 times trying to hook him up with a 14$ plan. And his pension is like 300$. Imagine trying to JORDAN BELFORD a 76y old man who doesnt even use his phone.
