I'm getting a large amount of spam from people using Scrapebox, is there any way to include my own site in the do not spam list?

Not everyone uses the cloud blacklist, so even if i uploaded your URL to the cloud it won't solve your problems. The best way is harden your blog, so it not only blocks this tool but all the others also.

Uploading your domain to the cloud is only a band-aid solution for your problem.

Okay but how many it searches from because I already have hrefer and want something that does a job little faster then the proxies that are avaialbe with hrefer? Can you just give me the # of proxies it can get in a given time to be used for searching?

There's not tons, i just scanned then and here's a screenshot: http://i48.tinypic.com/23i8dcg.png

I had an alert in the tool for about 10 days asking for more proxy sources, unfortunately only 1 person contacted me so.. What's there is the only worthwhile lists i could find.

From the result I see is only 40 good proxies can be used out of 398? Is that all, because hrefer has over 2000 list of proxies to search for in a given time, and get an average of over 380 good proxies. So, how can scraperbox handle not getting banned from search engines for a good proxy list under 100? So what I want to know is, how long does it take scraperbox to go through the proxy list or it depends on the circumstances?

fantastic price of kit this, couple of questions though

do you highley reccomend using proxies for posting comments?

theres so much that can be done with this tool, just the havest function itself can be played about with for hours to get some great possible links

Hey- How did you do this? Could you post here or pm me plz
did you use the ping to ping your articles? comment with article url?

hey i found out how to inflate my most published hits on ezine articles

i ov ethis tool

also what would happen if i blast 10,000 comments without using a proxy?

quick question for you guys,

when i scrape for blogengine blogs, its scraping blogs that have been beaten to death. theres literally hundreds of comments on most of the blogs that my link has been placed.

are you guys seeing the same results with blogengine blogs? im doin pretty targetted keywords too

Yup, I have noticed this.

Can someone explain the other harvesting options and how they're useful for posting?

I only harvest the blogs using the keyword field.

How is the "Powered by vBulletin", inurl:Ringtones, intitle:statistics inurl:awstats.pl etc useful for posting?

Anyone offering a service on this product?

I highly recommend buying this product if you want the full effect. After you pay someone else for a submission, you could dish out a few more dollars and purchase the software for yourself.

Is there any known custom footprint that will scrape just comments?
Maybe someone knows of an application or software that can do it.

probably an akismet ban and a few spam complaints

in my experience, your comment acceptance rate would be lower too....

oh and Big G will block you if you scrape keywords w/o a proxy....not sure about the other ramifications of mass commenting w/o proxies....but better to wear a raincoat than get splattered on....

Hello,

Here is my experience with scrapebox :

I've used scrapebox on 20 sites (10 one-month-old sites and 10 other sites) for about 20 days : from december 1st to december 20th 2009.
I've used the name of each site for the name (the anchor text).
I've spinned 3 different "spam" posts.
I've used the submitter of scrapebox on blogengine pages (so there were a lot of spam).

Result after 20 days :

The 10 one-month-old sites have gone down in the SERPs on their keywords and they have no PR in the recent google update

The 10 other sites have stayed nearly the same, they have maybe gone up in the SERPs.

I'd like to submit again for new sites in order to get PR.

So what should I do ? Select only PR blog pages ? How many posts each week ?

Thanks for your help.

I am having the same issues. :(

First off, why spin the comments when you can manually write 10 well put together comments. It is not like writing an article.

Also I would say 20 days is too fast to say who ever fault it is. Most recently I've seen a lot of adjustments in the SERPs so I would say just sit tight.

I've played with a few different ways to do this. I'm curious if the increase in views is getting you on the most viewed list at ezine? They have gotten wise to some other methods it seems. I have articles with lots of views but they never saw that 'list'.

Are you just simply doing ping mode to your articles? Would love to know how you are doing this....pm me if you like...

Thanks

I just used the built in tool to collect proxies from all known locations. This resulted in only about 31 working proxies.

I then scraped a list of about 110 awstats type urls to ping. It burned through the entire list of proxies with only one successful ping. It then gave me the 'out of proxies' issue.

So I'm guessing that getting my own list of proxies is the way to go.

Question...would the success rate be higher with some good paid proxies? 100 proxies will cost a few bucks...but is that enough proxies to get a job completed?

If you are just pinging sites, I'd recommend just buying shared proxies. Will be a lot less hassle for your time and is definitely worth it.
