Are Backlinks coming from Home pages relevant?

Hello,

In the past months, I've been slowly acquiring quality backlinks through doing some guest posting on those sites.

While scanning some of the related niche sites, I found out that their homepages have a lot of powerful backlinks, so I couldn't help myself and speculate that if I insert my link in those homepages it could send a lot of link juice to my site.

So my question is it considered a good practice to add backlinks in homepages where there no actual articles, only generic business presentation of the site that you usually find in a homepage.

Based on your experience is that something that can give results on the long run? Can this present any risk on the Google penalization aspect?

The homepage is what carries the highest authority of a domain, so getting a backlink from the homepage directly is swell as fuck, but... how are you going to do that?? I don't think that guest posting websites are going to give those backlinks willy-nilly to just about anybody

Currently I have 10-15 money sites cms access some are relavant and some are non relavant site. My question is the same like OP. How to create backlink from homepage? it shouldn't look like stuffed/purposely, inserted. does big G penalize if they find out? One option i was thinking to add blog on homepages so that it can pass on link juice.

Homepage of the websites mostly have more authority when compared to subpages and backlinks from there are good to have but you need to have links from other info articles to keep your backlinks profile natural. Having homepage links alone may look unnatural.

make homepage to show an static blog post, insert your link, and you are good to go.
