Very good job mate! :)

Any plans on building backlinks or just keep going with 100% content?

Also, how many articles have you published on the site so far? And how many words per article on average?
I am not very interested in building backlinks, to be honest, not manually. My authority score is similar to other competitors now so I am satisfied to just build organically. Words per article are between 1,250-1,500.

Monthly Update

Apologies for the wait, all. I've been busy but still working on the blog. First of all, I am changing one of my targets. I am writing more long content, so instead of 200 posts by October 1, I am setting a word target of 200,000 total words.

Update on Targets (to-go)

Word Count - 171,629 (28,371)
Monthly Revenue- $96 ($4)
Weekly Visits - 3,288 (2312)

Update

As you can see, a smaller drop. I'm not sure why, as our impressions have stayed roughly the same. The big boost in earnings and visits on those two days was due to the Google discover tabs. I've found some competing websites with low backlinks and a low overall authority with some good keywords, so I am writing big (3k words) articles in order to beat them. I am also starting to rewrite some of my first articles in order to boost them. Not much else has changed overall. I'm making some solid revenue, but I'm not sure how to invest it further.

Plans

Current plans are just to keep writing. I have purchased a new domain for a similar topic in the niche, and I may start up a new journey for that at some point. I will be using mostly copywriters for that though, so it will be an interesting comparision.

Nice growth mate, I have noticed on 1 of my site I am getting nice growth from the last update. The impressions and clicks on GSC have been growing around the same time when you have less clicks on your graph.

Update

Usually, when people don't update for a while, it's bad news... I'm here to buck the trend! Stats below!

Look at those stats! Clicks up. Visits basically gone up 100% from my last update. Semrush slowly recovering from the fall from the last google update. You might be wondering why clicks have suddenly skyrocketed. Let's look at the final chart... This is the 'discover' chart on google search console, which shows when your site has been suggested to people on certain google apps.

This is what is driving the increase.

Website Stats (until Oct 1 target)

Posts - 148
Word Count - 176,936 (23,064)
Monthly Revenue- $101 (TARGET ACHIEVED)
Average Daily Visits - 657 (143)

Write-Up

1/3 of the targets has been achieved.
We are now making $100+ from the site. On the word count, we are beginning to get to a point where I am running out of ideas for articles. It is a fairly niche topic, and I don't know whether I will be able to find more topics to talk about. I have around 35 articles left to write, and I will then consider the site mostly complete. This doesn't necessarily mean that the 'project' is over, but it will be entering a new phase. Once this is achieved, I will invest revenue on backlinks and articles for my new site. This will hopefully begin in October. I'll set up a new journey thread for that site, but for now, I am focussing on this 100%.

You may be asking 'why have visits skyrocketed but revenue only gone up slightly?' The reason for this is who clicks on the site from the discover tab. It is mostly visits from India where, although I get some income, I don't get nearly as enough. I usually get around 120 extra visits from Tier 1 countries though, so it is still worth it.

If anyone has questions, I'd be happy to answer them! Next update coming when I can be bothered.
