In my experience regular Cpanel Linux hosting is better, it seems every time I try and use WordPress hosting, it's more expensive and has less functionality. My experience may be different than others, but because of my experience with it. I Used to go with Cpanel Linux hosting plans, now I use my own. It's more of a reason for them to upsell you something that sounds like you are going to need it IMHO.

When I started to with the Green Geeks hosting provider, I asked the support about this. He told me it's just marketing. You will get the same package anyway.
I don't know too many provider, but some of them don't offer Cpanel for the WordPress hosting and you have to pay later extra money if you need something.

In my experience, it doesn't really matter what kind of web hosting you have. The most important thing is that the site loads very quickly on both desktop and mobile devices, as well as that the site is reliably protected so that hackers do not hack it. The rest is not such a big problem anymore.

you'd better go with dedicated ip that is good for seo in google.if you have no idea with linux or windows skills,i suggest go with webhosting.I won't suggest you hosting provider because today,hosting provider are almost same quality at webhosting or simple WP hosting.

Always be the owner of your Domain. I love that double meaning. You want to be thinking about selling your profitable creation even before you begin.
I have traditional hosting but I also have the Groove Free hosting but not moving my business over to them or upgrading until maybe next year when they get all the Beta kinks out. But for Free....how in the H can you complain.
Alot of value in that.
