Generally I use Hostinger, Hostgator, Godaddy
But WPHosting is best for Wordpress Sites.

Doesn't matter, I heard WP hosting is pretty much web hosting but a marketing trick, never verified it.
Most shared hosting services sucks anyways
Go with whatever is able to provide you a stable uptime service with features catered to your needs without bloat and other junk tools you don't necessary need.
My personal opinion is
Go with Digital Ocean for unmanaged and expand from there, or WPX if you need a managed hosting instead.

When I started to with the Green Geeks hosting provider, I asked the support about this. He told me it's just marketing. You will get the same package anyway.
I don't know too many provider, but some of them don't offer Cpanel for the WordPress hosting and you have to pay later extra money if you need something.

In fact there is not best web hosting or wordpress hosting, is the same. The wordpress hosting can be a VPS instead a Shared Hosting or can be a shared hosting, and doubling the price.. that's just a marketing trick!
Actually doesn't exist perfect web hosting, always will have people who disagree and agree. Just run away from any EIG Company (HostGator, GoDaddy, Bluehost) and company related with EIG Company (read in google)

From my experience, it doesn't really matter. It's nothing more than some marketing bullshit for non-techies. What really matters the most is spead and reliability, since you want to deliver your visitors the best experience possible. Also, keep in mind that your site speed is now very important ranking factor for Google.

Exactly, it always will depend of what client / customer want to do, which hardware he needs. Location everything needs to be addressed.
There is not "PERFECT" Hosting, always people will choose between price / quality / requirements.

From my experience, the best hosting service is SiteGround.
I know that my comment will sound like a commercial for SiteGround, but the truth is that I had a lot of experience with all kind of Host providers and plans such as Name Cheep, BlueHost, GoDaddy... you name it.
Wordpress hosting plan is really limited and not really cheeper. Very fast you will find yourself thinking to change the plan because it limits you only to the Wordpress settings.
The price is similar to other hosting services, but its flexibility and reliability are what makes the big difference.
It has Wordpress site that you install with few clicks.
You get an ssl certificate to secure the site with any site.
The best thing is that they don't have a cPanel, but using a built in dashboard to handle all you need for your site from your account.
For a beginner that doesn't understand (or want to understand) with settings, it is easy to understand, and there is a free 24/7 chat built in the site, they are great with explaining anything to a non technical users, and will be there with you until they solve your problem.

It depends on the needs of your website. Web hosting is generally better for basic websites, while WordPress hosting is better for websites that need more specialized features.
