F you VPN ~ 93-97% speed reduction

The speeds on VPNs are f$&^ up.

How do you manage to use VPNs? What are your choices?

I am from Europe. I wanted to test some things on US/UK ips.
My patience is put to the test.

Here are a few tests on speed.

1 - connected to VPN - US IP

2 - connected to VPN - UK IP

3 - no VPN

To make things interesting, I kept the LA server for all 3 tests.
With the closest server to the IP speeds are a bit better.

Unfortunately, there is no shortcut, your ONLY solution is to test out a batch of VPNs until you find your match.

P.S. Don't go by the reviews, because the Internet landscape is littered with polished fake VPN reviews.

To get maximum speed connect to nearest location to you. Unfortunately, there is no way you can get full speed when connecting to the other side of the world because of latency.

Yeah. Testing would be an option. For now, I have run out of patience.

I am not interested to use VPNs for local IPs.
Plus, I am aware that there will be a loss in speed. But, still... over 90% is crazy.

Precisely what I was about to say. Latency is always a thing so, the best case scenario (I think) is the closest location
