In the past, we could have just used a different email id and same credit card same address, and name (everything) to create an ahrefs trial account, but it's not working anymore.

Loaded VCC works you just need to find a working one.
Trail accounts are good for people who don't use ahrefs regularly.
If you use it regularly you should go with a paid subscription.
You said you need 10 accounts a month in any case even you buy from someone you are paying them over $100.
Why don't you get a paid subscription then (Yearly you will save more)?

I think any method you use to pay for those 10 Ahrefs trial account will be more expensive in the end than actually paying for a legit account.
