The amount of websites I can install the plugin on has restrictions depending on the plan. With the current vault I can download and install on as many domains as I wish.

what happens if you cancel your plan? You can't use plugins anymore?

I like everything about the vault except for the domain restrictions.

Thanks a lot for your message.
Regarding your question about our old vault: it will be archived and those who have purchased a membership over there can still access the download repository.
New membership sign-ups are automatically redirected to our new vault. So no purchases cannot be made at festingerbhw.com.
And about domain restrictions: you can always download a file and install it on unlimited other websites, that's the power of GPL.
The domain restriction is integrated based on your license key: it allows the plugin to auto-update themes and plugins. If you run out of domains, you can upgrade your membership level.
But you can always install our plugin on one domain and download the files for your other websites, but auto-update will only be available on your website where the vault plugin is installed.

The amount of websites I can install the plugin on has restrictions depending on the plan. With the current vault I can download and install on as many domains as I wish.

That's also the case with our new vault: you can still download the file from the plugin to your hard drive and upload it to different websites.
The install/activate is only available on the domains you have got a license for.

to prevent agency clients or individuals we have installed the vault plugin on their Wordpress install (with our license key) the ability to download themes/plugins freely for the purpose of re-distributing or install on other Wordpress sites we have no control of.

@Festinger hope my answer above makes sense to you. As an agency, it make senses to control the ability for clients to download anything that you can charge them for.

I find this a very good suggestion.
I will integrate this feature with the next update, with the ability to allow the plugin to be used selected on WP user role.

You can keep using the plugins and themes you've downloaded and installed on your WP website.
However, you need an active subscription in order to download the latest version of a certain theme/plugin.

Some items are not available yet. This is due to the 5000+ themes and plugins which are being processed as we speak. Our automated system is updating around 100+ items per day and we're about 80%. So it wouldn't take much longer to process the file you're looking for.
Please allow me and our updated system to process the updates in batches, so we can make sure everything will remain run stable.

thanks, what I suggested is the ability to enable/disable just the download function within the whitelabel settings while the autoupdate/install themes/plugins function as per normal. The idea is to restrict the Wordpress owner/administartor to download anything from the vault and use it on his other sites or reselling elsewhere bypassing our control. Allowing the plugin to be used based on WP user role doesn't make any difference since usually the Wordpress owner (which supposely the client) holds the administrator account and the whitelabel purpose is to let service provider control what the site owner/client sees and uses.

I am talking this as a agency/service provider with a lifetime license (unlimited domain installs) point of view since you offers white label settings to pass it as our own plugin.

I see. What I can do here, is that you have a control panel from our main website where you can control your domains as well.
I can create a checkbox there that allows you to enable/disable download/install permissions on a certain domain.
If you want to install items, you can simply enable download permissions for that domain. Will that be helpful?

Unfortunately no.

I have created a dedicated platform that controls the entire update/download/install progress.
I decided to keep the 'main website' clean as possible, as every connection to the download progress will have a negative impact on the loading balance.
So in total, we're using 3 servers to make this all happen.
