Hello, you are an expert in music, so there is a specific question for you.
Distributors filter music and prevent white noise and SEO optimized content from being skipped.
The question is how then hundreds of pages like this one can exist https://open.spotify.com/playlist/37i9dQZF1DWUZ5bk6qqDSy

Those are mostly insiders. I'm in the business for 2+ years. Some people who work for large companies like Spotify or Tidal in their security departments actually own their own farms. They also decide who is to be cast away and who won't. Therefore, bear in mind that you cannot competing with them as they are in better position by default. Think about it: they understand how the system work and they are getting paid about 5k USD/month knowing that they manage 3bn business a year. Everybody wants a piece of this cake... ;)

Agree

I can't help you with that. I only use EDM chill out tracks.

Python.

You can only upload directly if you're one of a select few who have been invited by Spotify. For everyone else, you need to use a distributor.
can you recommend some distributors?

I'm not going to name any specific ones because once everyone started flooding Distrokid is when they cracked down and started their banwaves. Just Google it, they're not private or top secret.

Thanks very much, do you sell you bot now?

Is it a passive income? thanks, how much should I invest to make money?

Thanks! Do you know Music distributor who allows SEO in titles of tracks or people who know about it? I know that it is real, i see hundreds of SEO artists in Spotify, but my distributor (Soundrop) doesnt allow SEO
By SEO do you mean how to name the songs?? Sorry for the stupid question, not realy good at internet stuff. But i do have some information about this.

If it is podcasts, would the process be similar?
Would the revenue/views change?

I have been botting on Spotify for several years now. Take downs are common. My best advice is as follows:

1. You need hundreds of songs. You really can't have too many. Always have a reserve of songs ready to go when your take down will inevitably occur.
2. You need multiple distributor accounts. These can be a mix of multiple accounts at the same distributor or one account at each of several distributors. Or a mix of the two. Don't put too many songs under each account. Try to keep them to 1-2 albums or 10-20 songs per account. This helps you stay under their radar.
3. The distributors that take a cut of your royalties, usually 10-20%, are often more lenient and will look the other way. But not always.

Take downs will happen. I've gone through several. Try and learn from each one. See what you changed or what got caught. Sometimes there is nothing to learn. You just got caught. Move on. Add more songs and keep going with a new account.

I'll gladly share as much as I can here since I can't PM yet.

Can I create these distributor accounts myself or do I have to rely on a company?
If so, how do I contact these distributor accounts?

You can simply signup for any of these distributors for free. Distrokid is the only one that costs money upfront.

I've had success with these distributors. I've also had accounts blocked/taken down by these same distributors. Don't put all your eggs in the same basket!!!

Distrokid.com - They are the biggest. I have many accounts with them. The recent takedown wave in January only hit 2 of my accounts. I probably wouldn't create any new accounts there for a while to make sure they have moved on to bigger fish. And make sure they pay me my royalties on my accounts with tracks taken down.

Soundrop.com - These guys take a 15% cut of your royalties. Their support is awful. So if you don't know what you are doing, your release may never go live. Once you have a release live, they are pretty hands off. Royalties are always paid on time. My blocked accounts were not paid any royalties.

Traxx.space - This is a smaller distributor. They keep 10% of your royalties. They have a pretty strict anti fraud policy but I haven't had any issues with getting paid. I had several accounts worth of songs get removed from Spotify but never a peep out of the anti fraud team. Royalties still were paid.

Onerpm.com - This place takes a 15% cut. Their quality control seems to be a little stricter than others. Any really bad stuff will likely get flagged before going live. I've had one of my accounts blocked here and I didn't get paid my royalties. But another blocked account did pay me my royalties. I'm not sure why.

this clarifies the doubts I had for the moment, thank you.

I don't advise doing anything without at least 1000 followers to begin with, and they need to increase steadily over time.

They're not necessary. I have many artists with millions of streams and zero followers. Despite what you will read (usually from people who are not even involved in this), you don't need followers.

which one is it?

I am a producer and make some money with streaming but organically. Nothing big. $xxx month. It can be done right though I know dude with a plaque on the wall from some playlist method. Glad to see you put the time in to figure this out. That's what it takes the music business is dirty anyways.
