I would like to know why your books are full of stories that are most of the time useless. I start reading, and then over time it starts to be very annoying. the writer spends most of the chapters telling stories about his wife or whatever.
storytelling is very useful, but I feel that it is over-used in the books of English-speaking writers.
Is it something that resonates with you really? or most of writers are being told by their mums and mentors that it's good to use a lot of stories?

You cannot say "all" as that is an absolute.

I'm not 100% sure what you are meaning though and I do a lot of reading but it could be the kinds of books you read VS the types I read which is why I suggested some examples.
