Need Advice Plagiarism and Google Indexing?

Hello,

I'm midway through my article writing list of around 60 articles - I have 34 as of now.

I had some free time and wondered how authentic and unique my articles are - although I personally know it should be unique because I wrote them myself with proper research and outline (Special thanks to @Nerva)

I ran 5 articles in Copyscape - Grammarly Pro - Plagiarism Detectr .net

Results:

Copyscape = 4 are good - 1 has 2% plagiarism

Grammarly = 3 has 5% plagiarism

PlagiarismDetector.net = All 5 has 10% Plagiarism

I don't know how they get these metrics or how their algorithm works - but will Google not index these articles with my case?

I did my best to write unique articles - I'm not a professional writer but I made sure I did not copy-paste or spun anything.

Would appreciate your thoughts

I haven't tested Quetext yet -

I'm still puzzled how others cleared other articles while others flagged them all.

May I know what kind of issues?

Also - will this be problem in the future with Google w/ De-Indexing?

Oh wow that's annoying

I have no problem rewriting the clauses the apps deemed 'plagiarized' but most often these are simply casual phrases and not something technical - which made me wondered more

Anyways - as long as I get it right and Google not de-indexing me then I'm good I guess

Don't check for plagiarism if you write them yourself by hand and doing proper research online. Your content is unique, and these systems will always find some weird part that's somehow plagiarized. Not an issue.

I have pages that are ranked #1 with 5-10% plagiarized content. Sometimes articles loosing the meaning when trying to make 100% unique and for me most important thing is to keep the articles easy to read and make it meaningful for the visitors so small amount of plagiarism may not be biggest problem.

Keep it under 30% and you're good to go. I was testing some articles from NYT and Guardian.... Guess what? Some articles pointed 45% 47% plagiarism. Yet, ranking #1. One about Gang of Four is clearly stolen from Stereo Gum but, Guardian ranks #1 and the original barely made #2 page.

Anything less than 10% usually does no harm.

if google decides not to index your articles will be for totally different reasons, not because of uniqueness. I have posted articlesd on my sites that have been only 50% unique and have still ranked... albeit somewhere on pages 10-15

Anyway, what your main concern should be is the quality of the information in those articles. That's what matters most because that's what makes people like / dislike your articles and put money into your pocket. Always write for the user first, and then optimize the article for google

Tested just yesterday morning! Posted a 1466 words article from Cosmopolitan mag (2007 using web archives) regarding BDSM stuff. No surprises, Google don't give a rats ass about Black Hat and Adult niches. Turns out I'm ranking #3, first page and outranking the original Cosmopolitan article just rewriting first paragraph and adding some new images ALT TAGS powered.

Go figure!!

some broad sentences will always be seen as duplicate by an algorithm as many other people might use the same wording.
its nothing to worry about and google doesn't care nor should you worry about getting any DMCA requests.
