IT’s NOT IMPOSSIBLE TO MONETIZE COMPILATION VIDEOS

That’s crazy , my friend just showed me that he successfully monetized his channel where he posts instagram/reddit/twitter videos ( monetized since october ) . He just put an Intro and a watermark along the video .He applied 3 times in 1 year and got rejected but somehow reapplied again (4th time) for fun and got monetized in 48h . He don’t want me to share it there but NOT SO FAST .

A YouTube Channel is called « videos I found on reddit »do the same type of videos that my friend seems to monetizing them . Copyright claiming method seems not used . And it’s not the only channel , I came across another one but forgot the name .

Yeah I told him . Last video was uploaded 1 week ago .But in all compilations he got the yellow dollar sign , maybe youtube limits ads because they smh know it’s a compilation idk . I don’t know how a real human approved his channel . Did you check the « video i found on reddit » channel .

Its better if he doesnt monetize those videos. Its risky
Tell him to upload one unique video like his vlog, use normal thumbnail, title then see what happens. If he still gets yellow dollar sign (for this video), then RIP the channel.
If its blue, tell him to make more efforts in edit videos, may be he can bypass the yellow.

Yeah I know, but with that type of viral content you get that reach and you could go for mass approach with cpa.

There's also the new "law" permitting YouTube to puts ads on non-monetized channels
