Watched threads not giving notifications

I've been subscribed to watching one shit list thread, but somehow it stopped giving me notifications when someone replies. Any idea why this might be happening?

There are many but let’s say one of my own threads of free giveaway of Wordpress themes and plugins.

When 7-10 people reply for an example,I see only one notification that X replied to your thread Y.

I am talking about ON-SITE NOTIFICATION HERE only.

When you get notified about a thread you are watching and you don't check out the notification, it won't notify you again until you check the thread I think.

Exactly what @yesofcourse said - can't have put it better myself.

We don't notify you every time someone comments on a thread you are following. If you don't visit that thread either via the link in the notification or browsing to it then you don't get notified again until you visit it. Assuming your talking about the notifications that states "There may be more posts after this."

I am following the shitlist about Hooligan Media. I haven't received notifications on the BHW website for it for the last replies (replies right before I posted this thread). I have unwatched and watched the thread after that, right before I posted this thread.

I can't see that you'd refreshed the thread since then, therefore it won't update until you visit that page again and someone posts - which will in turn reset the flag on the page and mean you get the next update.

Threads won't notify you unless you visit them as per
