Need help: I got 200 $ for IG Ads

Hallo everyone

I got 200 $ for IG advertising. The goal is to acquire followers. I know the standard advertisements, but I don't think they work anymore. So I wanted to ask you for advice. Maybe someone can share their experience with non regular ads. I am active on the swiss market.

I would not focus on IG ads, they are rubbish and you pay a high CPC (in my experience) I would rather focus on Facebook ads if anything.

But FB is dead, isnt it? Cuz i need new followers on my IG account not at my FB acc. You're right the usual ads are rubish its why im looking for good alternativ

IG ads can be good if you give people a reason to follow you.

I saw some guys advertising pics of themselves when they were traveling. No one is going to follow them through ads. You need to trigger people.

Yes it's completely dead and there is no money to be made on FB anymore. Forget it exists and if possible give me all your old accounts. (which are useless) thnx

It is an account which is specialized in football / we are an official partner of the club. Since the first men’s team is too successful and I’m looking for exciting content - an they are not interessted in helping beacuse we're to low - I decided to specialize in the women’s team in order to gain coverage. However, I need more followers to get sponsors.
The ER is good but i would love to achieve an tipping point.

Tough niche to figure out an audience for it, perhaps the men football team could have more hype than the women's one.

Start having a look at the demographics of the people who it is following your account now, that will give you some starting tip on who to target with he ads. That said, 200$ won't give you much at once unless you are planning to spend them monthly or weekly.

you can take part in an influencer giveaway and try and get new followers. but always the safest option is creating good and different content. it will always drive people to your page eventually.

You can use a script and a nice landing page, host a giveaway, and in order to complete the participation, you could let them follow your Instagram page.

Pump the numbers with a giveaway and some shout outs, u will spend less than 100$ and grow a lot, if u only care about the sponsors buy some followers but that will kill your account at the long term.

you need to run story ads to third world countries. Test different interests with your story ad til you get something with a high enough CTR that you're paying less than a penny per click. Run the clicks directly to your IG page and you'll start to see the followers flowing in. Best you can get I would say is 1 penny per follower but that is the BEST, most likely you'll be paying 5 to 10 cents

The ads are working fine if you ask me, but it mostly depend on your goal. If you are looking for followers so later sell product, then if you design a good funnel, ads will help you a lot to grow your sales.

But just to get followers, maybe influencer marketing respond better rather than IG ads itself.
