Curious to know what blackhatters think of forex. Also do you think it's a good investment one can run on the side? If you have resources or journey threads kindly link them here.

I'm considering forex but I'm still looking for that tutorial that allows me to start practicing immediately instead of just absorbing theory.

You need to memorize thousands of different types of charts.

Try with demo account first for at least hundred/thousand of successful trades.

I used to do Forex when I started but I moved to Futures trading.

No spread issue with Futures which is nice. You can even do Micro Futures now which is a good starting point for people as well as you don't risk much with a good strategy.

The best advice that I can give is to find a strategy that you want to test/use and do paper trading until you can be consistent for at least 3 months. Then you should be good to use real money.

You don't need to memorize much, just build on the strategy you want to use. They are all different.

to be honest, " I just so call casual using it " And FYI what I learn pls , there is not so call Never lose before trades etc. I kinda hate those keep posting their fake profits
on those FB groups etc social media claim " blah blah use my xxx signal etc see that screen shot that is the proof , but one thing is funny daily every single trading don't haven even one or two etc lost trade? ,

if one , two day or even 3 day Hat trick no lost trade that is possible , but is whole week, never mind is Whole Month don't have a single lost trades?? " Man than u already been head hunted by those Broker , etc investment firm help them trade

I have witness biggest trade scam from some biggest forex trading platforms, I was running some bots and when I carefully looked at one trade between few trades the buy was lower than sell but still it gave loss, I quit forex and started doing real business with whatever I had

They are not fully regulated so risky and exchanges will obviously front run you with HFTs. Doesn't mean you can't profit. Generally played with heavy capital for small moves in currencies.

I pause my forex learning, trading, till I found a better plan.
After 6 months of learning.. and practice...

There's no way I can become rich from it. The risk is too big.
The % to lose money are grater than earning money.

No to mention.. the so called gurus.. tutorial.. books.. have no idea what they were doing.

I mean, it's like you are trying to predict the turkey chicken price just by looking at the chart, with bunch of indi.. without understanding the logic behind it..
rather than 'pattern'.

They are so many fundamental reason why the turkey chicken price can goes up and down.
Demand from festivals.. virus.. etc. But this concept can be apply on stocks.

While forex/currency.. they are thousands of different reason why the price can goes up and down!
You need a machine learning, A.I for that I think.. before you can predict it accurately. There's no way your single brain.. looking at the chart pattern.. with basic fundamental news from fx factory can help you!

If I posted this statement on fx forum, or youtube, the fx guru's definitely gonna bash me, but do they make money from fx? I mean in large amount? $10k.. $20k.. $100k?

Forex seems hard, i think for me it would be better to promote a forex affiiate site or similar.

Do not promote something which make loss for others, help other solve their problems and you'll make your way to become rich.
