I thought it was due to sponsorship, sexual abuse and a pile of other reasons that all just added up.

The contract thing mentioned above wasn't that part of some conspiracy some time ago?

I can't imagine a company offering someone a contract, backing out of it and then banning someone is going to do them any favours when it comes to a court case over it - stupider things have happened BUT I don't think it's that.

None of the other people he used to play or stream with can connect with him either I don't think? Which to me says it's more serious than not getting paid...

I dunno rumours are rife does not help neither side is coming out just have to wait and see.

This is the reason why I hate being at the mercy of any platform who can make a decision and not have to say why.
A self hosted WP site and use platforms to drive traffic to my own asset or affiliate links is a bit safer than relying on platform like Tik Tok - look at them now - and others...

Don't think you can really say that any more to be honest.. there are people who make 10s of millions a year playing games and sponsorship or even just with gaming channels. Now you can throw back at me the old "but not everyone makes it" and yeah that's true but it's no different to any other sport either.

People just play football & golf or any other sport for fun yeah you can say thats a waste of time but it's in the same league as gaming. The only difference there I suppose is you get fresh air instead of sitting on the sofa, but for the rest on a whole it's almost on a par..

Outdoor sports is definitely beneficial for health on the long run. But sport is sport, we can't say a professional chess player is not playing real sport because he is only siting at one place (a wild Magnus Carlsen appeared). Esports is very big and will get even bigger in near future.

People love watching video games thats why platforms like Twitch are still alive and doing great. Some big names in this industry get thousands of viewers whenever they stream and earning quite a living from it.

Hey guys just want your opinions. Dr. Disrespect was a streamer on Twitch with millions of followers. He got permanently banned from the platform in June without anything explained by Twitch. When he contacted them they haven't state a proper reason for the ban despite saying the streamer has violated some rules and shit.
I have subbed to his Youtube channel long ago and now he also started streaming on Youtube and getting a very good response from the audience. Is it really okay that platform as big as the likes of Twitch just act like dictators and ban anyone without reason. I am not a fan of him or anything but just feels like its wrong and not expected from these giants. Also the amount of effort and production quality of his videos are really on the whole other level. People really work hard to achieve their goals and in the end the platform doesn't give a damn. gg unlucky

Its a shame this path that twitch choose.

Miss the times where it was about gaming and having fun, now they just favor female streamers, even the report system twitch haves now its a joke "sexual suggestive content" its what IRL kim kardashian streamers do everyday, but not even a warning by twitch, money talks first.
