alright maybe im wrong maybe possible. coz I've seen small smm boost take a vid to 28M views. i forgot that lol.
but sometimes yeh know this luck is rare thats why im confused and find it hard to believe

Im sure he isn't using any blackhat. I've had videos reach massive amounts of views out of fucking nowhere. I once had a video go super viral and I have no idea how. Most likely he struck algorithm luck, then people stick to his channel because they like his voice or whatever. Also it seems some channels become authorities in certain sub niches, like this cursed minecraft thing, the algorithm may rank him at the top for that so all he does is repeat the same trick a million times until its dry.

I havent tried blackhat but im sure its mostly useless and you just risk getting banned or shadow banned (p-score lowered) so why risk it.


Also, it seems some channels just get stuck in a limbo. Get some viral videos, then the traffic goes away, and it isn't maintained. Further videos don't get recommended. That explains those channels with big amounts of subs but with videos that get few videos. All the videos came from some viral video, but the rest of the videos didn't go viral. It's fucking annoying. Few people become permanently trendy. This guy grew a fanbase and manages to get decent numbers consistently.

I've seen a channel exploiting the same thing right now and he doesn't even use his voice, and this channel is making 1+ million views per video, and they are short 3 minute videos. I don't fucking get it.

Could you please tell the channel who is "exploiting the same thing"? in dms or something

He is smarter than most others. He figured out a way to drive audience to his channel. His first 2 videos targeted the keyword "cursed minecraft" while the keyword was raising in popularity. He probably drove traffic using Reddit or some other source too, which helps him rank in Google searches. Later he used Pewdiepie to drive some more traffic. By that time, many of his videos went viral and he made another video showing his earnings. He applied perfect combination of keyword research + viral trends + SEO to rank.

These are very good points. If you can target a keyword before everyone else and then that keyword spikes in popularity it can be huge. Using PewDiePie could give and insane boost, he is so insanely popular.

This person also may have already been hugely popular before he made YouTube videos. He could have brought his followers from somewhere else to YouTube.

so there's one thing which you failed to notice in that video of him showing his analytics.
obviously he got big traffic from browse features etc but it's not like he got zero from direct or unknown or external etc. if he got zero from those sources then it's a different story but he did get some percentage. which means he could have used smm or such to boost in the beginning after which he blew up.


im talking here based on yt experience.
when i boost my own videos with private methods it will get views from external/direct or unknown etc
like let's say 10k botted views

now let's say those 10k botted views pushed my video to suggestions and obviously my main traffic will be from suggested videos and browse features.

like 10k botted views would boost me to around 500k views from suggested for example.
if this happens and i make my own analytics reveal later on, obviously the biggest percentage will be from suggested /browse etc

so the amount of views from botted /external /direct or unknown is just 10k.
that value is so small it will look insignificant to the 500k views i gained from suggested videos on the analytics reveal.
the bar will be tiny compared to suggested/browse percentage bar.
so it will look to you like i didnt cheat and got only organic traffic.


if you guys are gullible Enough you will believe it.


from self experience a lot of channels i know personally similar to the ones you showed usually use some blackhat tactics to blow up like crazy. they just pretend to not, and they usually don't talk
about their secrets.

most of them have a budget
either ad views or private smm or bot for boosting vids. this is 90 percent of cases atleast from what i know.

theres just like extremely rare cases where people actually get "lucky" and blow up.

I agree, when I bot it shows up as external and on new channel on fresh video it's mostly external at first but then real traffic starts to come in and I have very little fake external and mostly yt search and then external/google/bing search.

Bingo, with your average being over 15-20% CTR that's really good and your video will get suggested like crazy, that's impressive, congrats bro. That's why I dont understand when people say external views help, because they dont increase CTR

Youtubes algorithm isn't set in stone bro, its normal to have a high ctr on a fresh video, especially when all your views are botted manually. Having a high ctr is just one of the metrics for a video to be considered well done, but it doesn't mean your video is going to automatically get suggested
