@theStrangefruit -I think the point of using the proxies is that sites like squidoo are very quick to ban your IP so better use proxies.

But can anybody suggest what are the best proxies to use for doing all this stuff.

First step is make sure you use a different proxy for each Web 2.0 property you use! After that just go in and us a VPN to add content anytime. The more comments means a stronger property. Why is this important using a proxy and vpn? You do not want to leave footprints for Google.

How will google find out what IP you posted with? IMO this is all too much work. I made several linkwheels with crap content put together within 15-20 min that still are up and the sites they point to are number 2 for a somewhat competitive keyword (7,000,000 results on g)

Use proxies between blog/account creations on a given site. This allows you to create multiple sites on, say Squidoo, on a given day.

I see no reason to change IP addresses with a proxy for Google.

I wonder how much of this thread is actually to scare potential linkwheel builders away....

maybe I should built some linkwheels and the link them to my competitors above me in the serps and see what happens

if they are still there after some time I hire someone to do a full xrumer blast and I will also dump their urls with one of the adult link dumb submitters....

then I wait a couple of days and report their site to google - hopefully they will get banned because of nasty linking practise

of course I documented all that stuff on video so I can put together a nice press release and hire someone to contact the media

Krismelena...sure let's get together....just pm me here and I will give you my email. I'm sorry but I just don't believe some posters in this forum who claim they get the results they do.

I use proxies so that each property is unique. I think linking multiple blogs together in a circular fashion and then linking them to your money page with the same IP is dangerous. Why not do it right the first time? You can use these properties all your life. I hate doing things half way.

All the blogs I create are pimped up. They will be have their own PR in no time at all.

We have just finished a linkwheel for a keyword in WOW. We pinged them and aggregated the RSS feeds. Yes each property we do has an RSS feed. We also bookmarked them all. Created a video that we put in each blog. In addition, we created a clickable picture and banner for our blogs.

We also created two articles and submitted them.

So, we have 7 spokes in the wheel pointing to the hub which is a Squidoo lense. And, two articles. We focused only on one keyword phrase. I will let everyone know the results tomorrow of our labor.

Well before my team left today we bookmarked, pinged and aggregated the RSS feeds. Just a little while later we had two positions on the 2nd page with one of our bookmarks. The broad search competition was 56,000,000! That's right 56 million!

With an exact search we are 4th and 5th on the 1st page. I am not sure what the results will be in the morning. We plan to add more content tomorrow and ping again.

This is, we could always add comments to the video we created and the pic on Flickr. We could also make comments in our blogs. Not to mention we could get links from other blogs by commenting in the "********" once with PR.

It appears to me that there is a great potential here.

Comments please...oh if you want proof pm me. I may share the keywords so you will see for yourself!

Barcelona I have been a member here for going on 2 years. I assure you I am not trying to scare anyone away. I am only sharing information. I am sharing because members here have been very kind to me. I am telling you so far this seems to be working. I will post here if the results turn out to be negative.

I do believe that if you take your time building a good linkwheel your results will be very good and they will have longevity. Time will tell but so far it looks good.

I hope to be building a 24 spoked link wheel soon. I have a feeling the results will be really amazing.

In terms of the proxies search on this site and you will get some good proxies and info on where to get them. We use them only for the initial setup of our properties but we keep of record of the IP. We try never to use the same proxy again.

You cant easily damage a established website. BUT new websites can be damaged easily.

We ran SEnuke yesterday. I am not happy with the results. I will need to put my team back on this and check out the backlinks to see if we have a broken link or two..
I also decided not to Proxies in the old fashion way but just to use a VPN. We did have one bookmark showing off and on ...#1 out of 56 million....so I am on the right track I just need to hone some of Web 2.0 properties a bit.

Well today I looked at Google and I was #1 our of 56,000,000 with my bookmark again...it seems to fluctuate up and down on the 1st page. I have one blog in the linkwheel that is not indexed yet and that is holding things up.

Reminder to myself. Don't put allot of links in the blogs and don't link them together until they are indexed. Make 12 blogs and ping the RSS feeds and URLs. Once they are indexed then link them together! And never use an article unless it is approved and indexed!

d3tox you are correct. I agree 100%. But not all link wheels are alike. You know we build good blogs here. We pimp them to the max and we cover out footprints for Google. We do so much more than any service offered here or anywhere. The key in my opinion is to build decent web 2.0 properties and keep on working with them. Each blog for example will have it's own PR. Create unique articles and submit them to various directories.

Do a ehow article. So many things you can do when you have some good web 2.0 properties.

My positions have dropped to #10 on the 1st page and #6 on the second page in Google.

@lostgringos - You need to feed your properties well to keep up on ranks otherwise you slide down as you loose points and have less number of points as compared to your competitors.

Iwona well said. But this was done for a client. Funny how many of my clients walk away from these properties and don't update them. The linkwheel I built has so much potential. We put so much work into these blogs for example that it bothers me when people don't keep them up. Just a little maintenance would ensure there positions on the 1st page.

I will be starting my own linkwheels for my service shortly. I suspect I will dominate the 1st page of Google. Time will tell.

But everything I do, I do with quality so really my linkwheels are not blackhat. I make sure all my content is unique and I pimp the crap out of each property. The blogs I create are often better than my client's websites. I have one of my staff dedicated to all of the graphics and he is pretty good. All images and banners are clickable too.

Google seems to be doing allot of dancing lately as my client is back in the #1 position.

I welcome all comments even the negative ones as I love learning and I know I will never learn enough SEO to satisfy me ... ever LOL.

My client still has a number 1 position. I will have my team go in and make comments on his web 2.0 properties and so some linkbuilding. My website on link wheels should be up and running next week. I will be doing a massive campaign on the website. So I will be interested in the results. I plan on have at least 6 out 10 positions for linkwheels in a
Google search on the 1st page.
