Music Streaming Business

What exactly do you want to know? Wouldn't mind to discuss here so everyone can benefit of it

Great! So i have an international web hosting that i was gonna use for a website but the Control panel is out dated and atrocious. So I ported my site to another hosting. So the hosting that is just sitting there comes with 3 VPS and I want to know how i can utilize these to stream. Background information on me is I'm a content creator, I create beats and do artwork and have an underground artist. I just want to know the steps (total songs, length of song, how to set up stream etc) and the things I should do or avoid to not become banned. As you see I am rookie to this, but I know an artist who works with one other guy who uses multiple devices streaming all day bout 5 total devices going through different streams, been doing it for bout a year. I was thinking bout setting it up as a record label and run it like that. Please advise.

Well, I don't think that you can make much use of the VPS.. if you want to stream a large amount successful you need 1 certain proxy for every single account you're gonna use. I'm not into the technical part too much cause I failed back then in terms of creating false identity for every account (proxy and so on) so I just started outsourcing the streaming part - I'm only producing the music.

What may work is that you really have some devices and stream on them (like the people you mentioned). Doing that on Amazon Music rn since the payout per stream is fucking INSANE but donno if thats gonna go through until next month..

But for not getting banned:
The key is staying undetected. That means you have to pay attention to the following points:
- Create or use high quality music (either you can buy from ghost producer or produce own tracks)
- Use music that got normal length (not shit like 30sec, go for a minimum of 3mins)
- Use professional Cover Art (get the basics of photoshop and you're good to go)
- Try to spread the songs as wide as you can (max. 2-3 songs per distributor)
- If you do several songs per artist identity don't put everything into the same playlist, be creative
- Build a base on social media so your fake identity looks legit (if you have 100k plays on spotify have at least some k on instagram as follower etc)

GOLDEN HINT: If you have the budget run facebook ads beside streaming your music! that way you include real human interaction and get organic reach so your bot accounts will dive under

That site is out of date and there is no set rate for any streaming service anyway. Different countries pay out differently. Free accounts, trial accounts, premium all pay out differently. Some distributors take a larger cut than others (even if they say they pay 100%).

Hey all,

last november I decided to get my foot into the music streaming business and stream my own music to get the royalties.

I learned programming and programmed a bot on a VM to create streaming accs and stream the music and did some stuff to stay „undetected“.

Unfortunately my music was taken down from spotify (except 1 track uploaded in 2018), most of the music is still up on other platforms.

I’ve made around 140€ in a short time but stopped this project. Still figuring out what I’ve made wrong since it’s HEAVILY lucrative..

Just wondering if there are people here that are active in that buis that I can talk to for some guidance maybe?

CAN YOU SEND ME TH PROGRAM YOU CREATED ?

In my personal experience, I stay away from Spotify; they will have your album token down. I genuinely interested in the program you created to generate streams my be we cant trade ideas to improve the BOT

I WOULD ADVISE THE SAME SPOTIFY IS QUICK TO TAKE YOU DOWN AND I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT THE PROGRAM YOU USED HIT ME UP I THINK WE CAN SWAP IDEAS AND TAKE THIS TO A WHOLE NEW LEVEL

Maybe it was streamed less than the other tracks. Personally I would start again with a new artist rather than continue to use one after all the songs except one were removed.

I've never used them, only DKid amd a couple of others. Amuse and Soundrop are another 2 to keep away from.

I also had a negative experience with Amuse. Still trying to find the most reliable way to get music on the usual streaming platforms while staying anonymous.

Hello, how long are your songs you are uploading and which genre they are? My songs were declined by my distri.. but I have songs with good quality.

Correct!

My greatest damn regret when I first started botting. I run the goddamn bot instantly to my newly upload track in Spotify :v
