I am from India and need some advice about which hosting to choose while starting my first blog.

Namecheap would work great for beginner and Price also low...
you should check that out...they have server location in India
Yes. He can buy a domain and also use easywp at namecheap.com. Its pretty simple.

Better to start with low range hosting plans as your site need time to get authority. Go with namecheap

Namecheap. They’re having a sale this week and you get a full year of hosting plus a domain name etc for about $15.

Buy a year sub at namecheap, its 0.08c a day ($30) and you can migrate to something with better performance once you have traffic, or get a namecheap vps.

Closte should cost you around $5 a month starting out, and it's very fast.

But you should only be considering it when you get to a decent number of users a day.

Otherwise namecheap can probably work well for you, and you can upgrade when needed.

I recommend hostgator. Ofcourse there are many others to choose, but I have been using hostgator for over 10+ years and never had a problem. So I recommend them.

As a starter Namecheap is sufficient and when the site grows you can switch over to site ground.
They have an inbuilt WordPress application in Easy WP with free SSL.
