Case Study: Niche Site after 4 months applying only Whitehat technique

You're doing great! I've read through all posts in this thread and your growth is fantastic. Following for future updates ;)

As I mentioned in my July Update, one of the goals I had for August was:
I noticed that the landing that's bringing the most organic traffic is not the right audience for the website niche, so I will monetize with ads that landing instead of affiliate marketing. I will try to get approved again on Adsense, once I reach the 25k sessions (Im close this month I had almost 23k) I will apply to Mediavine.

Good news! Today I got approved on Adsense :D Now that my website has got approved there I can move forward and start integrating Ezoic.

Im very very happy, you guys know that I got rejected 3 times in June, and I had to research and make lots of adjustments to get approved. Also Ezoic nor Medivine work with your website if it has been rejected on Adsense, so this is a big step for me to increase monetization.

Fantastic journey, I like that you're constantly researching new ways to monetize and maximize conversions.

Mediavine changed their requirements for new publishers - it's 50k monthly sessions now.

Yeah, Lol it has been a trial and error game, which makes it fascinating and challenging!

OUCH! well then I will need to wait to apply there, so far I will work with Ezoic, they just require you to have at least 10k sessions per month. Thanks for letting me know!

How is your traffic split country wise?
Most of the traffic is from USA, but there are other countries like Philipines, UK, India, Canada, Australia and a couple of African countries etc...

Im actually working in ways of avoiding Philipines and Indian traffic.

wow you're visitor amount is going through the roof.

any reason why you're affiliate income is staying behind compared to amount of visitors? are you maybe focussing keywords with the wrong search intent?

My most visited page is not the right audience for the affiliate product, that's why, check my last update. That's why Im monetizing with ads too.

Also I've been working on building strong hyper targeted mailing list and it is starting to payoff.

PARTIAL UPDATE
I'm excited. This month my site improved positions in SERPs for the most competitive keywords and my traffic skyrocketed. I broke up the 25k sessions per month milestone.

I will give you a full update next week. I'm very very happy, all the efforts of these 8 months are finally starting to pay-off

AUGUST UPDATE
Hello everyone, this is the update for the month of August, I'm very excited because I started to make some decent money from my site, although it is still low, I'm now closer to my first milestone of $500/month.

The site had a massive growth of traffic, I improved SERPS with the last google update which gave me a ton of traffic.

Also, I'm collecting leads every day so my mailing list grows slowly but steady, right now I have 392 fellow subscribers.

Semrush Keyword Ranking

according to Semrush, my overall indexed keywords are going down. But I'm not sure if this data is accurate as my traffic is crazy right now. I will try to research why the keyword indexing is going down...

Search Traffic Stats

As I told you my organic traffic is increasing every month, My position in SERPS increased slightly and that gave me a peak of traffic, and now I'm getting 2800 daily sessions on average which is AMAZING.

You may wonder why I'm not making more money through affiliate marketing if my traffic is increasing, it is because the pages that have the most traffic are pages that are related to my niche but are not precisely the right audience for the affiliate product I'm promoting on my website, that's why I'm monetizing with ads as well.

Ads performance 13th August to 31st

I'm very happy with the performance of the ads on my website, right now my average ePMV (earnings per thousand visitors) is $4.43 and according to my account manager it will increase over time while my site gains authority.

If you're using Adsense in your site, switch that shit to a better network, you're leaving money on the table. For those who don't know this is the ad network, I use on my site.

Search Console Stats

Here you can see the big jump I had on the 20th of August. Also, my CTR has been improving nicely. I'm very very happy with these results.

I made a total of $303.46 this month. This is enough to pay to the writer so I can keep outsourcing the content and just making the polishing and improving it. But that saves me a lot of time.

I also hired a graphic designer who's helping me with the portraits of my articles and the media I use in every article. I was doing that myself but that consumes a lot of my time.

Goals for next month:
- I want to reach $500 and accomplish my first milestone next month, I will make it happen!
- I will create my own digital product
- I need to keep readers updated. I want to send regular newsletters after they finish the automated workflow.

That's all for now. I can say that I'm close to succeeding on this journey. Thanks to all those who are following up.

If you have any suggestions for me or questions just let me know!

What ePMV are you getting for Indian traffic? I have a website recieving majority of the traffic from Indian. If Ezoic provides decent ePMV then I can try applying

Try to apply, I think they don't have any restrictions regarding the location of the traffic. The only requirement is to have at least 10k sessions per month.

Most of my traffic is from first world countries USA, Canada, UK... But I have some traffic from India as well, the ePMV for Indian traffic right now in my reports is $0.39

Im sure you will earn more with ezoic than with Adsense...

How long are the articles you are posting and how much have you been paying for content? I saw you switched from writing yourself and started to outsource the content. also, what is the total word count of the content on your site if you know? Good luck with the rust of your journey. You seem to be killing it.

It's great to see that you're making more from Ads than affiliate (which was your initial monetization method)

From my experience, targeting informative keywords that can generate good traffic is what every affiliate website should do instead of only going after buyer intent keywords.

They may not convert with affiliate network but these can be monetized in a lot of different ways. And kudos on starting to collect email subscribers, great decision there!

Good luck :)

Very nice, how many articles on your website now? what backlinks do you make?
