So I started this site in Feb 2019 with a vision to start earning at least $200 from Adsense per month before December last year. Guess what guys, its July 31st, and I have accumulated the sum of $80!!:D:eek:

Well, the site was growing for a while - It was in a broad Niche, say I was aiming to be like Wikihow, posting very random How-to topics. I was getting at least 300 visits a day, seemed like growth for me.

Well, fast-forward to April this year, I decided to make the site strictly a How-to site for tech queries only, so out of about 200 posts with over 200k words (that is - 1500 words per posts), I removed about 68 posts.

And on May 5th, my traffic fell like the economy since then it has been going down probably in search of crude oil. Black Hat World, what can I do, please? Thanks

I'm no SEO expert but right off the bat the first thing I notice is your CTR is crazy low. Based on what you said your website was about I'm gonna guess that it's your content which is not up to par, and likely the title/description isn't very convincing to the users. Make sure you're posting good useful content which people want to see and optimize your titles better to fit the keywords you're currently ranking for.

Wow. Thank you!

1) adsense is shit dump it 2) you can try @se900se ad network 3) May there was a update hence you were effected 4) do a seo audit fix those stuff 5) add some strong backlinks Like homepage pbns, niche edits and guest posts and see if yiu can recover

What was the need to remove 68 posts?

How much traffic were those posts getting?

Seems like you got some penalty or majority of traffic was from deleted websites.

The 68 posts weren't tech related.

Content + (PBN's)

I guess my friend @tiiberius can suggest some better things

Thank you.

Make an audit of your website to know what's have been broken.

1. There was a core update on 4 May. Maybe you got affected by it?
2. As it was asked before... you removed 68 out of 200 articles... maybe those articles were bringing traffic?

Can I find such services here in BHW?

A few of them where, but I've added more contents since then.

First, audit on-page of your site and find out where you are lagging behind and fix it ... then check how your articles have reached your audience so far and identify the articles which missed their visitor rate.

After doing this is all, you will get what you need to focus on from now.. So, with this research, you can improve your page content and off-page SEO to get your traffic back!

Well, like the old saying goes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

You have clearly been doing well and your site was established in the general how to niche.

Now you have decided, for whatever reason to change the niche of the site. Yes, the change was not that radical but you need to take into account how Google views your site.

G is now looking at your site as a new site and therefore you have to wait for the articles and site to get out of the famous sandbox. I don't think this is something unusuall. You should start seeing steady growth within time if you push out a lot of quality content as you did before the drop.

As for the traffic decline, I think that one is obvious. You removed the general how to articles that generated your traffic and that's why you lost most of it.

Thanks!! Can I purchase such services here on BHW? Or is it possible to do it on my own?

1. Try a free SEO site audit tool that indicate where you should start.
2. More links to your site
3. Always have great content that actually help your users

Free SEO audit tool. Any suggestions?
