Don't know if anyone can help but I would appreciate anything.
Does pausing a campaign every day affects the performance in any way?
Because I put my campaign on pause every end of the day and I have noticed a drastic change in my traffic compared to last month's traffic and quality.
What do you recommend should be done?
Thank you.

short answer is yes...
specially if it is a shopping ad campaign.

its a call campaign , so i guess staying up 24/7 is gonna be a problem for me lol
I just asked my google ads rep, pausing doesn't change anything, so don't worry about it. Also I think you can schedule your ads to run only at a certain time.

change nothing ?????
dude .... u know nothing about google ads, u and your google ads rep .
Yes, you know better than my google ads rep. Thank god you're here. I'll tell him next time I see him for coffee ;)

The irony of what your ad rep said is that pausing your campaign will affect your competition which will then have an affect on you.

Competing ads will benefit whenever you pause a campaign and that will affect your results. Increase in clicks means a better CTR, which means better ad relevance, which means more data for Google, which means better ad position for them.

Yeah, that's search ads for ya.

It really affects your campaign performance. I guess pausing messes with facebook's ads algorithm...You'd rather avoid pausing

In my experience it doesn't affect anything.

Who says yes is based on what? How to prove?

It's hard to rely on assumptions...

I've worked with over 60 accounts, including shopping, and I've never had a performance problem.

Optimizing schedules will save you money and improve your results.

Want proof? Duplicate your campaigns and run one normally and the other with scheduled times. Draw your conclusions then give us a feedback! xD

Just to complement the case, I only work with manual CPC :)
