Had my 18 year old personal Facebook get perma banned. (Aka my request to appeal was denied) which sucks because a lot of my business contacts are on it.
But whatever, it’s annoying but I don’t sweat it, I’ll just make a new one... so about a month later I make a new one. (New email, same unique handle on the email, but a different email provider) I also use a different phone number, but for the name I use the same name, (my name is somewhat common)

Anyways After I make the new account everything seems fine, and so I put the account down for the month to focus on other things in life, (Figured I’ll deal with it later) Fast forward 2-3 weeks later, & I go back to add an old friend and start to begin rebuilding my social media. (slowly but surely) but my one friend add won’t go through...
then, a half a second later a message pops up saying

“your account has been disabled, blah blah blah, if this is a mistake submit a web cam of your face from all angles”
so I do... but I’m somewhat impatient, and am betting they are still going to perma ban my new account regardless.

so I make a few burner accounts to test the waters and try to figure out how this is happening... I delete the cookies, the website data, I disable tracking and third parties, and Jump on a cheap VPN and make a few fake emails to the tune of “zuckthecuck@whatever” just to test the waters and see if I can deduce what tracking method they are using to know it’s me. (Aka the same guy they already banned over a month ago)

all the new emails are immediately flagged... despite having
-new, and wildly different names
-new emails/phone numbers
-different info
-VPN’s from different places...

Despite it all, it’s all immediately flagged...
How is Facebook figuring out it’s the same me? What can I do to make sure my new account(‘s) won’t get banned?

some things I have NOT TRIED:
-incognito mode
-static IP

I kinda have to get back on Facebook in some capacity and to do so by using my real name for work in about 8-12 months from now... I got some time. But I want to get back early enough to rebuild my contact pool for work and get back into a contracting Facebook group for work.

Can any of you awesome gents and gals help me figure out what protocols the service is using to flag/track me?

TL;DR: new FB accounts where immediately banned following my original, despite there being
No clear indication as to how FB is tracking/flagging me. Anyone know how Facebook is doing this? Or more importantly how to get around it?

Cheers

If I create a new account off a fresh device, and then use my existing one to log in, will that get me around the flag?

I would say that yes, I don't know what works nowadays but a couple of years ago bluestacks was working fairly well

Delete the tracking cookies and it can be your IP.
Since almost every human on earth has facebook they don't flag out IPs alone but if you use you home IP and the same name then that's a probable indicator you are trying to circumvent the block. Most of the times people with exactly same name doesn't use the same IP... (Like John Doe from IP 1.2.3.4 registers 3 times but it's common John Doe registers from 1000 different IPs for example since same name is common)

Best you can do is get a new IP, make sure all cookies are completely flushed from the browser, no cached data, make deliberate misspelling in the name (both first and last), do not upload the same photos as you did before etc.. Actually try to make it as hard as possible to recognize you from the photos so if you want a profile pic upload one that is a distance from you and you wear sunglasses and hat. That should fool facial recognition.

Something like that should work.

Bluestacks the emulator app? I’m on iPhone so not sure if bluestacks is available to me.

also thanks for helping me out dude, I really appreciate it.

would the best Bet be to just get a new phone? My 8+ is a bit of a fossil these days anyways.

Sound as you have flagged your IP.
Try to create the account from a cybercafe or similar or friend´s house... but first delete all cookies, etc...
I think that is possible can help you create the acc with a portable Firefox.
But if you logged in with the same IP in your home you have the ban in the new account. You can call to your ISP and request to change your IP if it is static.

If you are on iPhone and use the iPhone app, you need to

1. Reinstall the app or if you are on a jailbroken device, flush the app. Make sure you UNINSTALL it and not just "off-load" it.
This will generate a new device UUID.

2. Disable "Advertising ID" from settings. Google it if you don't know how to do that.
This will disable advertising tracking and return 0s. Otherwise, unlike your device uuid, the advertising ID never changes across apps.

Then it will look like a new install with untrackable ids.

So picking up a new phone would be a wise start then... Could I use my wife’s phone and then switch back to a previous device That’s not my main device? (In this case my iPhone 8+) I have a laptop I use exclusively for work, Maybe used it once or twice for fb) my banned FB is 18 year old so it has a laundry list of IP’s that have been used in the past. What are the odds that the entire list is flagged?

Really solid advice, thank you dapromo. I’ll be sure to give this a whirl soon.

yea I think my iPhone 8+ is permanently flagged. I tried what you said, deleting the app, clearing my advertising ID, using a VPN on and off, using brave browser, bunch of different names, maybe I’ll try my laptop later.... but pretty sure I need a new phone.
I appreciate the help though....
...Maybe I’ll think of something soon...
