I do not observe any changes - everything remains as before. Links from comments traditionally work the worst. After the latest Google updates, it seemed that the links as a whole meant even more for ranking than before.

Didn't use any source. Most of them are so-called premium guest posts but actually PBN. I did manual outreach and that's the only process. Here you might find a few services offering the niche edit links as well. What I do to scrape the website list based on my niche, filtered all based on the metrics, find the contact details, and pitch them. This is the simple process I am following for my and client project.
