How many sites do you recommend we do with each blast on the same group of blogs?

I put in a list of 200K keywords into the url harvester. Is this too much? The harvester has been running for a a few hours now and it's indicating 250k google links at the moment. Maybe I've put in too much, I don't want it running for days.

I've been playing around with your program and love it so far.

I was wondering if it's possible to use the ping feature to boost ezine article views or other article directory views. If that's possible, what do I need to do?

He he, that's awesome! This product I have a feeling is going to make a lot of our competition out there a lot more competitive.

As far as I know, this can be done pretty easy with the pinger. Unfortunately, I haven't tried it yet so I can't really help you. Let me know if you have any success increasing article views. :cool2:

Has anyone opened up a scrapebox thread yet? I'm eager to see how everyone uses it.

Is the blog commenting feature of this software broken or something? I can't seem to get any comment posted in the blogs I harvested.

Let's say I start blog commenting on 1000 blogs (wordpress), our of the 1000, it says 7 are successful. So what happens to the 993 other blogs? I checked them and the urls work fine... as for the 7, when I checked those blogs, I can't find my comment in there at all. Same thing for movable type. The success rate is much higher with MT, but I can't find my comment there at all (It works when I did it manually)... so any help here? o_O

Yes Im doing this kind of thing but not with scrapebox.. I created my own tool to do that (just before i met scrapebox) but most probably scrapebox will work havent tried with it though. Just use proxies.

This was weird. I just harvested over 60k wordpress blogs using around 30-40 keywords. After I clicked "remove duplicate domains" I ended up with around 1k blogs left! LoL uh ....

Had 67k blogs and removed duplicate domains and ended up with 1k blogs ... Any clue why this might be happening?

I'm using 1 exclusive proxy and harvesting from all the search engines ...

Oh snap!

I have a big problem. For some reason my comment is being posted multiple times on every blog! Some of my links are posted 8 times per blog!

Here is an example: http://www.kith.org/journals/jed/2008/11/30/11675.html

Good thing I don't care about this domain, I was just gonna spam comments to see if I could rank it anyways.

Hmm anyone else having multiple links posted per blog?

Ok so I put in 200k words in the url harvester for wordpress blogs. After several hours it crashed when it got to aol. No worries I'm not too interested in aol. I ended up with 600k blogs. I removed duplicate urls and domains and now I have 139k blogs. :) Can't wait to send 100k backlinks to one of my sites.

That's entirely up to you, some people comment to a few hundred blogs per day and others to a few hundred thousand a day.

Thanks, and yes you can boost Ezine views with it although you will need a lot of free proxies because Ezine count hits via IP not just the same IP loading the page over and over.

To test it out, if you pull in 100 proxies with the inbuilt proxy tool set it to say 400 pings, put Google.com in the Websites.txt location (this is used as the referrer) and add your Ezine article URL in the bottom Sites-to-Ping.txt input. Set the delay to 1 or 2 seconds and fire away.

I reply to your support email, but i'll answer here as well. The issue is most likely the free proxies, they really cannot handle the volume of traffic from the commenter "plus" other ScrapeBox users likely commenting through them at the same time.

I really have no control over the connection from your machine, to some free proxy server i don't own then to the blogs you are commenting on which i also don't own.

Your PC >> Proxy >> Blogs

The proxy is in the middle, if a connection cannot pass through it the comment will fail.

Free proxies are ok for Scraping, Pagerank Checking, Pinging, RSS Pings and so on but commenting you will get mixed reults.

You can manually hunt for more stable free ones, or pay $10 and get a dedicated private proxy for a month which i highly recommend.

Your comments span an hour and a half. Did you do have the same URL in your list multiple times, and do multiple comment runs?

You can "Remove Duplicate Domains" plus compare your new URL list to an old one which will eliminate URL's you have commented on previously.

Did you send the crash dump through a little earlier? If so, the Internet Explorer mshtml.dll crashed and took ScrapeBox out with it. That dll has always been problematic, and until MS improve it not a great deal can be done to fix it.

Let us know how the 139k blast goes with the backlink count. :D

Hi Sweetfunny

I'm loving Scrapebox, and the speed at which you are releasing improvements is phenomenal!

A suggestion - after running comments, I usually get the pop-up that says "You could do lots more with a slower method". I then run the slower method, delete the successes and run it again... usually repeating about 4 or 5 times till I get no more successes.

It would be great if this cycle (run slow method, delete successes, run again) could be automated. Maybe a drop-down so you can choose (from 1-10) how many times to repeat the cycle?

Thanks, bobski

Hi guys need some advice. I've taken every url from my site and added them to the urls list. I then added the keywords i wanted for each page in the name file (i'm using Link Lock feature) this way my comments will have the anchor text perfect for each site. Would this be fine.. Would anyone recommend this?

I was thinking of using random names also using the same urls. Would this be fine as backlinks..

Would a 50/50 work well. Maybe by splitting the scraped urls into two parts..

Thanks :)

when trying to post to blogengine blogs it always comes up with failed posts retry with browser simulation. which is slow as hell to post to 2000 blogs... any help please? im not using any proxies

I'm a bit bummed. I love this software and the blogengine part runs fine. But, you can imagine, how i feel having thought about 2000 comments were posted due to the 'success' message and after some investigation i cant find them. I can manually post a comment on a lot of the blogs i checked.

Why does this happen? I am not using any proxies.

Thank you. With the slow poster, i wouldn't run it more than once. The only bullet proof way to know if a comment has been posted, is hack the blogs dashboard and see if it's in the queue. So ScrapeBox has to rely on the blogs response to tell it if the comment is success/fail, there is a small margin of error if the blog has been customized incorrectly which causes it to produce a bad response to a comment.

So it's best to comment to a blog list once with the same comment and backlink.

BlogEngine needs javascript to leave a comment, so that's the only way to post to it. It's not coming up with "failed posts retry with browser" at all, it opens the browser poster directly and starts with that.

Hi, you are doing something wrong then. There is no way you could post to 2,000 BlogEngine blogs and have no comments instantly since most of them auto approve. Even posting to just 50 will net you instant backlinks.

Please either PM me or submit a support email, and i'll see what you are doing wrong.

I am not sure if its only me.. but i downloaded the new version and started with wordpress blogging. The first posting method went fine. And then the slow posting method popped up and I okayed it. It started posting but just when i minimized the program and after some time i maximized it said only top few success and then all of them timed out error. So out of 336.. only 44 showed from top half to the middle of the scroll to be success and the rest all showed timeout error.. is it any bug?

sweetfunny i sent you a PM regarding my issue - it is to do with wordpress commenting not blogengine commenting.
