Hey guys,

I created a blog a few years back and wrote a bunch of content. Having come back to it now, I realize one of my articles is pulling in around 100 visitors a day, and the website is then netting about 3,000 visitors a month. I want to revive this website and was wondering what the best way to go about this is.

Can I leverage this one article to flourish the rest of the site? Any advice would be appreciated.

Start publishing article again and interlink the ranking article to the ones that you want increase ranking

So basically have some sort of call to action in the article driving traffic to go check out our other content? Also, will the initial SEO effect of other articles be higher since one article on the domain is performing decently well?

A call to action or a simple link, there is a high chance that all other articles will have some effect if you interlink them

What you need is more articles and backlinks. Also, interlink all your pages so that the authority can pass through every page

For better results, you can publish the articles with quality content and interlink them.

Create a hundred more articles like that.

Do interlinking with other post whom you want to give boost and also add the call to action button it will become more beneficial.

Create more articles and interlink them. Reverse engineer the content and catch the keywords that it helped bring the traffic. using these keywords with new fresh long tails will help you have the next wave. great to see someone is making progress after the recent update.

Reviving a blog that’s doing well is really not that complicated of an undertaking. Simply resume writing for that blog and interlink your newer articles with the ones that are receiving the most traffic. It should rise like a phoenix in no time, especially given the numbers you’ve given us here.

You should build many more sites and forget about them lol

The company I joined a few years back had the same case; they started updating their blog website regularly after the 3 years. The site had around 1000 viewers a day. We worked consistently on updating and writing new articles with proper SEO-optimization for 3 months. We also created very few backlinks. You won't believe the outcome was 14000 viewers a day, along with increased domain authority.

So, I suggest you start -

1. Optimizing and updating your existing articles.

2. Publish new articles regularly with proper SEO-optimization.

3. Interlink the new article with the one already ranking as it passes the value and authority.

4. Start creating backlinks.

You'll gradually see the results.
