Google releasing a large update today

Yeah, the top results in my niche effectively debunk all this info.
My pages are the fastest on the first 2 pages, still they slipped down.

I highly doubt that pagespeed is responsible somehow. Yeah, they may be effected a bit but not in a broader scale. I have gone through around 80-90 sites over this. But haven't found any hard evidence.

Google staff has already said they monitor blackhat forums. Also, this update favors PBN backlinks. What if this is not a mistake and was done on purpose?

What if Google knows that some people will never buy their ads under any circumstances anyway, and just sells backlinks and SEO services to them under other names just to earn as much as it can?

What if you are actually buying mega tiered SEO packages directly from Google in disguise?

It's not.

They do monitor this forum. They've even targetted specific networks from BHW in the past and published about it.

Seeing this in my sites and also from several social media comments. Age got a boost this update.

Problem is there's lots of old spam out there too and it's a mess.

Yes, update on the 9th/10th. I've yet to see a single site get a boost from that update. Everyone is down by about 5-30% that i've seen.

Yes for me, STILL DANCING around.......thought recover slowly but again drop
I lost quite a lot top 1 to 10 position keywords , etc

organic traffic really massive hit.....now I just trying to push more direct traffic to compensate

Sick...we are loosing 50KW each day....frustrating. Lost all snippets, top placements...some day get positive signals and next day we get double up negative signals

so bad... I lost all my snippet too, so terrible result at casino niche now page 2 dominated by market place -_-' how comes marketplace selling casino services? even I use "register casino acc" term at local language.

this update messed up everything, maybe google want to split all traffic both authority and non authority pages. If you want stable traffic they force you to paid ads

Yes. Went from 3k keywords to 1.2k now. Losing about 50-150 keywords every single day. Didn't go up even one place in SERPs since May 4th.

Multiply it by 10x times.

And this is my SERP tracker - this keyword was stable on 8-9th position his whole life - no matter what I did, and now jumped to 2nd out of nowhere.

What is in 1st position? Featured snippet.

Still, my traffic is shit, most of the keywords are nowhere.

I saw a strange factor. In French Google, but in .com english keywords as well.
Less backlinks (if so, from pbn) or no backlinks got more boost than authority websites with high backlink velocity. I’ve got some sites, and websites that’s not linked from beginning are going to The top and outranking authority one’s. WTF
