No matter what they tell you this is how STUPID and up to date(sarcasm), their algo(s) have become.
I had some extra time and googled 'free intraday data mini sp500'
Number one is from futures.io, an outdated THIN forum post from 2011 and the snippet goes like this:
Hey, Anybody find any free realtime intraday E-Mini S&P 500 Data? EOD just ain't cutting it and Kinetick wants something like \ a month for the.
They claim that BRET can understand the context of a long-tail query. It can NOT, it was too stupid to figure out that the question was about 'realtime data'. It completely ignored the 'realtime' and bad grammar. Tell me more about the so-called 'quality'...
The second is from firstratedata.com. That one is interesting, and the snippet looks like this:
Download 20 years of historical data for over 1000 tickers - 1 min and tick ... E-Mini S&P 500 Futures (ES)E-mini Nasdaq-100 Futures (NQ) ... Bundles aggregate multiple intraday data sets for a specific niche - for example our SP500 ... We update datsasets once per month and customers will be entitled to three free updates ...
Note what's bolded in the snippet, and when you go to that page you will NOT find
Mini S&P 500 anywhere on that page, they took it from internal link under 'Futures' It's a collection of random sentences taken from the page and internal links to 'fit' the search query. This is how smart they are.
The next one is quant.stackexchange.com, not because they actually answer the search query, but they have some of the keywords in their internal links.
barchart.com has the highest authority and most probably would be a better choice than the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th position is down below with a snippet like this:
The historical data and Price History for S&P 500 E-Mini (ES*0) with Intraday, ... of web services APIs (JSON, XML and CSV formats) and a limited free service.
Again note what's bolded in relation to the search query and the order of the words. If they had that 'free' somewhere at the beginning of the snippet, most probably they would have had a higher position.
Here is the screenshot of the SERP
Search queries like this even though they don't have a lot of search volume if any teach about the inner workings of their algo(s) and what it looks on a page to rank it high or low.
