A srsly dumb question.. where do you find VAs and how much do you pay for a task? Is it per hour?



I also see that you're using SPP, quite expensive after looking up on it. Does it integrate with Fiverr and Freelancer? Or these revenues are solely coming from fastlaneseo.com?

1. VA's from Fiverr or from BHW, there are quite a few VA businesses here.
2. SPP is expensive but has a few cool quirks, ultimately it's not necessary but I chose to spend some on those, it doesn't integrate with Fiverr or Freelancer ^^ the revenues are from fastlaneseo running adwords.

I have a few suggestions for you.

Homepage

1. Add a nice header/hero image on the homepage. Right now there are no images at all and it looks like there is something missing.
2. Add icons with text Fast Delivery, Reliable Provider, Money-back Guarantee

Menu

1. The Services dropdown text color is very hard to read. Change it to something light color
2. If you can add a Case Studies page with 2-3 good case studies in it then it will give confidence to users.

Website Speed Optimization Page

1. Increase font size by 1 or 2 px
2. Remove the "Speed Up e-book" box from the Packages & Pricing section. Packages & Pricing section should only showcase your services, not a free thing. Create a new section for ebook and Tie ebook with a system like Mailchimp in which users subscribe and it sends them an ebook automatically.

1. I always have problems finding a nice image for that, so I keep it blank. I'm thinking of finding some nice SVG for that spot.
2. I tried to do that, but I wasn't successful. Can you recommend any plugins for that?

1. Fixing this too, been having menu issues with no real solution yet, for some reason the colors keep reverting back to what they were, I'll hopefully fix this soon
2. Never thought of this, I'll definitely investigate that option

Why shocking? It's more around 30% but I purchased myself a lot of stuff that was tax deductible, such as computers and office equipment, bunch of other stuff too like building websites which are up for sale right now, a lot went into it, but cost of goods was around 30% for sure, fees and tax deductibles another 20%, don't forget I live in the US.

It's finally Monday and time to turn the ads back on.



Made some updates to the ads, keywords, and bids. Testing out impression share instead of manual CPC, not sure wtf it is, but we'll see.



Not much happened over the weekend in terms of sales.

Changed the prices of services up a little bit because I feel like low prices were scaring people off.

Some improvements made to the website and landers and form pages.

Some SEO packages set up and content added to my website



Analytics conversion values finally set up, wish I'd done this earlier



Finally, I'm overall still down, will hopefully break through with some sales this week!

For every $25 spent on the Speed Optimization ad, I am getting about 10 downloads of the free ebook, and 1 purchase worth $29.99.

Still not breaking even, but definitely this configuration is working.



eBook downloaded 85 times, and the Speed Optimization sold 7 times.



Too much spent on ads, but meh, slowly but surely. Ad spend is over the past 20 days btw.

IMO your prices are still way too low.
You should try to increase the price to $29 and $49 (at least) and your conversion probably won't suffer much, but your profit will increase by 50%.
When I see those low prices, I'm thinking (and probably others too) that he is a beginner at doing this, that's why he is charging so low, I better buy from someone PRO.
A professional can't be charging that low.
Give it a go for 1-2 days, it will probably increase your profit margin without hurting the conversion rate.

Yeah this is very true and before, when I was charging $19.99 I was not getting any conversions at all.

I'll bump it up to 44.99 ($5 under zippisite and other speed optimizers on the first page)
