Moving website to a new subdomain or changing TLD(.com,org etc)

Hello guys i have been watching some website that always in the top 3 in my niche and he's always switching subdomains from www. to www1. and now he's on www2.
My question is does this have any benefit in seo, is this part of the reason he's always on the top of google search page.
And this other guy i am not sure how well he ranks but he's been around for a very long time and he's always changing from .com to .org to . whatever.

Is this some sort of technique they use in ranking or they seem to change when they feel google wrath is unto them or something.

I need answers

I have never seen this before and I would not say that it's something that has benefit for their SEO. Sounds confusing.

If anything, changing the address of your site continually is a bad thing for your site's SEO. My 2 cents.

I have seen this type of techniques used in movie streaming sites. Due to DMCA take-down from Google search they lost many pages which lead to decline of traffic. So they frequently change domains using 301 techniques.
