I have an idea I would like to run be you guys & gals at BHW.
I will be introducing 2 new products in about 2 months and here is what I am thinking.
Set up content rich websites with keywords in the domain name, then comment spam these sites for a couple months, then 301 redirect these sites to my product pages on a different domain.
My question is will the backlinks I obtain transfer to my new domain and boost its ratings. Note, the new product will be on a new domain with no age.
Part of my thinking is to catch the competitors off guard by not offering the product, while it is in development, on the content rich pages therefore they won't see me as a threat until I have established thousands of backlinks. Maybe even use it for Adsense to generate some income in the meantime. Note the 2 competitors currently have only about 20 backlinks each and don't appear of the first 3 pages on Google and are getting most all there traffic through PPC.
I would appreciate everyone's thoughts and suggestions.

If you 301 redirect a domain, the links and 'juice' transfer over.. and if Matt Cutts is to be believed then there is a "slight" dampening factor involved believed to be about 5-8%
Also if you do this, don't go overboard with the number of domains you 301 to yours. A few years ago one of the big directories (Alive i think it was) got nailed because they were mass buying domains with links and PR and redirecting them to their internal category pages. I believe they had domains in the xxx range redirecting to their site.
But overall, this is a pretty sound strategy if done right.
You can PM me, you can reply to the @scrapebox.com email i sent you saying your original license is activated, the scrapebox.com site has a contact form linked from every page of the site. Take your pick, i'm pretty easy to contact.

This is looking great indeed, here is the result of a 50 blog test post i just done:

14 Links appeared on the site "instantly" after posting (no moderation) from the 50, from those 14 there was a PR5, 3xPR4 and the others between PR2 and PR N/A.

Yea seriously, I'm not telling you what to do but you really need to raise the price. This app is worth so much more.

Indeed a price rise is in order soon i think, ScrapeBox has grown a ton since it first went on sale at this price so it has to be worth double now i think.
BlogEngine rocks, i was skeptical of adding this platform at first.. But it has tons of ******** links with Pagerank. It's a nightmare to post to with an app due to all the javascript, but i think all the work was worth it.
So if you own ScrapeBox, i urge everyone to grab the latest 1.6.x version.

Shiite dudes - just done a test of the new BlogEngine Blogs with just 47 urls and I kid you not - 45 successfully posted to (checked the urls myself given I couldn't believe it!) and by that I mean the link is there on the comment 45 out of 47 urls!
I really do think it's time to make this application 'closed' cos I really don't want all and sundry using it! well, OK, I know Sweetfunny is doing it for a good reason but hey, lets everyone whom currently uses it pay him a small fixed amount each month and close the app off to anybody else huh! who is with me on this!!???

Well my first post and first purchase on BHW even tho i have been lurking for a bit.
I like this software very promising. I would like more info on what the export URL list options are, i dont quite get it.
There is also a small bug on UI. The stop URL harvesting button says 'start harvesting' therefore you end up with 2 start harvesting buttons.

The license is a single machine license, and yes it's working perfectly on Win2k Server.
You are right, 2 start harvesting buttons.. I must be very blind, or very tired i didn't even notice.
Give me a second, i will upload a fixed version.
Do you mean these?
Export as plain text, export as .html (like a sitemap), export as .xls and merge URL's with another file on disk.
Edit: v1.6.3 Uploaded, Button Text fixed and a couple of other minor fixes.

Added a temp crashdump.txt file for the harvester, at intervals when harvesting ScrapeBox will save all your URL's to this file. If ever your PC hangs, power goes out or whatever during harvesting all your URL's are preserved and will be loaded in to the app next restart.
Some people are harvesting URL's well in to the xxx,xxx range now letting it run overnight so this is great piece of mind in case the cat pulls the power cord out 6 hours in to a harvest.
This is all automatic.
