Hey guys, I've been pretty active in the crypto-space for over 3 years. I've seen my portfolio rising from $150 to $60K and I've also seen it dropping from $60K to $1K. Lol :P

I've been a team member of a few crypto projects (they all died off). I've also launched my own crypto-related project which failed terribly.

I've failed tonnes of time but learned many important lessons with each failure. Currently, I'm working on something for more than 1 year and I kinda feel that I'm finally going in the right direction.

Anyways, I know a lot of you guys have a lot of questions regarding crypto trading and cryptocurrencies in general. I'm here to answer as many questions as possible :)

Shoot!

How risky is it to trade using bots?

Congrats and commiserations on your past work with crypto OP - my question is what are a few alts that you think will do particularly well in 2020/21?

Edit: second question - what kind of role did you play in the projects you were involved in as a team member?

considering the current economic scenarios, how much time, do you think that it will take for crypto to get crashed.

Crypto-market is pretty volatile and unpredictable. Bots usually use pre-defined technical analysis and few other factors to calculate the best time to Get-in or Out of a trade. Due to market uncertainty, it's impossible to see long term success with bots. You'll do far better in the stock market.

I don't have the same mindset as I used to have back in 2017 and 2018. At this point, all my buying decisions are based upon these factors:

1. Usability
2. Legit partnerships (That I could actually verify)
3. Background check on the team
4. Market interest
5. Volume
6. What makes it different

Based on these factors, my favorite pick is Stellar (XLM). That being said, I've invested in XLM for at least 4 years so the short term fluctuations won't bother me

As for your second question, I actually launched my very own crypto related project back in 2018. The concept was to build a mob app where the users could book live appointments with Lawyers, teachers, Marketing consultants, fitness consultants etc. The project failed for 2 reasons:

1. It was just a concept. The majority of the projects fail because they never get past through this stage. Creating a cryptocurrency should actually be the last step of this entire process.

2. We conducted a few airdrops where people claimed x10 more coins by creating fake identities. As soon as we got listed on the exchange, those participants released their bags.

I was also a part of another crypto project where my main role was to promote the project on Reddit and Medium. I got paid in Eth on a weekly basis by the team founders. Just like 99% other projects, this also turned out to be a scam (I wasn't aware). A week after that token got listed on Idex, the team released their holdings.

Which altcoin is the best to invest

This is not financial advice, but I really like Stellar for the fact that it's fast, secure and has one of the lowest trx fees. Moreover, stellar wallet activation requires a deposit of 1 XLM, which makes it difficult for people to claim airdrops by creating tonnes of different wallets.

considering the current economic scenarios, how much time, do you think that it will take for crypto to get crashed.

When people talk about cryptocurrencies, they're normally referring to the entire market (including all currencies). I believe that only a few currencies would survive and the majority would disappear in the next few years. Getting back to your question, I think everything except a few cryptocurrencies would continue to crash. However, if you're referring to BTC, ETH, XRP, XLM, etc - they'll definitely rise.

is it worth buying BTC at the price of 8k?
I would hold on a bit longer.

asking you as you said
hahaha, you're so funny.

CIA

Although he has been pretty accurate with his predictions so far, I still wouldn't recommend following him. Just DYOR

What in your opinion is stopping or rather delaying mass adoption of cryptocurrencies, even with the potential use cases and benefits ?

Good question. IMO the biggest factor is "Get Rich Fast" mentality of the crypto audience. People are ready to invest in any shit that would give them a quick return on their investment.

Exchanges are ready to list any Shitcoin if the team is ready to pay the listing fees.

There are tonnes of amazing concepts in the crypto-space. However, you won't find many working products. they're just concepts and will most probably remain that way.

There are projects that don't necessarily need a cryptocurrency but they all are coming up with their own currencies just for the sake of it. This has led to thousands of useless tokens.

Which coins can you choose to hodl for less than one year with maximum returns?
