Hi,

After doing some research I am going to sign up to use Jarvee. I will be using it to just 'like' on quite low numbers running just one, maybe two accounts. I will be logging on to post and comment myself using my iPhone.

I am a Mac user so will need to use a VPS.

I had a few questions if anyone can help.

1. On the Jarvee site, they recommend using an AWS account, I was just going to use that or do I need a 4G proxy as well?

2. Does anyone know what an ultra-safe limit on 'likes' would be?

3. Am I putting my account in danger by just liking? Should I get Jarvee to perform other actions as well?

Thank you in advance

1. Using Jarvee without Proxy on a VPS is like using Jarvee with Datacenter Proxy
2. I hope somebody else will help you out
3. You put your account in danger with automation. But I have to say, Instagram is more "relaxed" with liking then Following.

Why do you want to automate liking only?

Thank you for your response

I don't understand your first point im afraid. Is that a bad thing a Datacenter Proxy? (apologies for my ignorance)

I used to use Followliker and would get reasonable growth with liking only as i post good content.

My fear is that doing the follow/unfollow i just end up following a load of not so good accounts.

I also think it looks like a bot to people, but i would be interested to know if people agree? Maybe i am wrong on this?

Thank you again

Datacenter Proxy sucks since the huge automation update last year.
Instagram knows that you use an VPS hosted at AWS. You can check it yourself:

Just enter your IP here https://check-host.net/ip-info

No ordinary user will use AWS IP on a daily basis. The reason why everybody use Residential or 4G Proxy is, all Normal Instagram users connect to Instagram trough Cellular or Home WIFI. You have to mimic this behavior to hide yourself.

With an Amazon IP (or any other VPS/DEDICATED) Instagram will always have an Eye on you.

---

Follow / Unfollow works like a charm if you don't overdo it and you should have a balance between your Followers and the people you follow.
Don´t follow 4k people while you only have 20 followers. Always stop following some accounts after several days to keep your account in balance

Again, thank you. That is such useful advice.

Ok so to be safest it is using a 4g proxy or nothing? Do you have any advice on where to look to find the cheapest/basic that i would need for 1/2 accounts?

I imagine the cheapest way is to have a laptop that is connected to a mobile using 4g network? Annoyingly i only have a mac (no windows)

Ok i see maybe it would not be too bad for me. At the moment i am 8/9K followers and following 6/700

Thank you again

I tried using a vps without proxies and it didnt work too well, I doubt aws is different.
There is no specific limit on how many likes you can do, it depends on how warmed up your account is and how good your proxy is.

Also yes, all bots endanger your account, there's always a risk involved.

I prefer trying to grow organically with lots of contents and hashtags these days, as f/u and liking is too risky for me.

Thanks for that. Yes, it does seem that I should get a 4g proxy if I do use Jarvee.

My thinking was just to have Jarvee 'ticking over' doing likes while i also concentrate on organic growth to try and extend my reach as much as possible.

I also thought it would be useful for Hashtag analysis as explained in this post:

How do you find the best hashtags without Jarvee?

You could buy an USB Dongle with Simard.
Parallels supports USB passtrough so only your Parallels uses that USB.

Your MAC should connect to wifi/lan like normal

Brilliant, thank you, yes, that seems like a much easier solution. Thank you, I do appreciate that.

You don't have any idea of how much Data i would need do you? Do i need to get unlimited or would 1/2 accounts use much less than that?

You'll get banned from AWS.

Also most AWS IP's are blocked all over the place.

I usually just search for hashtags in my niche and pick ones that fit your account size. So if your account doesn't have many followers, use hashtags that don't have many posts in them. The bigger your account gets, the bigger the hashtags can be too.

Hi there,

I'm in the exact same position Landscape Photographer is (by the way I am one too haha). I'm trying to figure out the exact same problem.
Got the was set up and all and got blocked when using the aws ip, so folks in here are certainly right.
I'm still trying to figure out a good proxy provider, who operates from Germany. But everything is very expensive so far, thatswhy I'm hesitant.

I want to pursue the aws solution since its running 24/7 and is overall very convenient if you have everything set up. (I'm a Mac user and parallels is a hassle...)

Other than that, thank you everyone for the informations!

All the best

Eh? AWS won't ban him for running Jarvee. They won't give a shit.

You can run a bot fine on AWS but it will need a proxy. AWS is a blatant proxy for places who are barely trying so IG will spot it a mile off.

You can use AWS and run it through a different proxy. If it's a 4G one then a Raspberry Pi in your house on a small scale or there are providers you can buy them from.

Ha ha, I am glad to hear i am not the only one that is confused by it all!

I was quite excited about the idea of using parallels, a proxy and then Jarvee, but as you say the cost does add up! Especially if you are only using it for 1/2 accounts.

I have seen some people posting that they get someone to manually grow their account for a monthly fee, however surely there is nothing to stop them just using automation on your account. Would there be any way of knowing/preventing this?
