Never worked on these on Upwork. I think Fiverr is the best place for these projects.

Not sure about Google My Business gigs, however, website speed/optimization should be already in your front-end's skill-box.

Earning Update: 2nd February 2020
$510 for a lead generation project. Good start for February I now have a friend whom I trained how to bid on projects. From today, I'll just forward him the links to the jobs, and he will keep bidding all day long. I'm sharing part of the earning with him. In January I have pitched to 3 jobs per day on average. Since I have a partner now, I'd be looking at bidding on minimum 6 jobs per day.
Total Earning: $9,623
Balance: $140,377

Earning Update: 2nd February 2020
Got $1,000 for a consulting project. I'm not a big fan of posting earning screenshots, but some sisters on BHW were claiming that my updates are fake, that I'm using it as bait to sell Upwork courses, and accused me of using fake earning numbers to fool innocent newbies. These sisters also believe that my BHW profile is an imposter account being used by Jr.VIP members who are on this forum since 10 years , and they also believe Tupac is still alive.
I could have posted screenshots back then to prove them wrong, but it would have meant I gave in to the bullies' demands.

So guys, ignore what the bully sisters claim. A lot of money can be made on Upwork. Freelancers are making ten times more than whatever I make. It's all about how awesome your profile and cover letter is - as a starter. And of course you must be excellent at whatever you do. Check this thread by @Supuna.j The templates for cover letters in this thread is more effective than what I've been using so far. Yesterday I got a $510 lead gen project on Upwork within 3 hours of bidding. I used the exact template shared by @Supuna.j You should give it a try.

About what? I have not been following this here so I cannot comment. You can certainly make quite a bit on Upwork from what I remember. Sure you get low ballers. but if you have a solid profile, feedback, etc its def possible, of course keeping in mind their ridiculous fees.

This is definitely worth it. Once you establish a profile with solid feed and decent portfolio, you can achieve it. I started on UpWork 3 years ago. Hit $30k my first year, $50k the following and last year $120k using my unique approach too. Can't wait to see how your journey turns out.
