Wordpress/Blogger or PHP website, which is best for affiliate website for products.

So I want to start my own affiliate website to display product from other sites (which I'm not sure if it's profitable) but I don't know the best platform or script to use. So I'm asking the gurus in the field to kindly advice me.

NOTE: This is going to be my first experience in internet marketing.

Not Amazon or Ebay.. I'm going to use the one in my country. Using Amazon or ebay will mean targeting a particular country outside mine, which will be very hard for me.
