Ranking 1 in search console

If I rank number 1 in search console (google) for a specific term does that mean that I am the number one spot every time someone searches that key phrase? Or I am sharing the spot with other websites and only receiving a percentage of that traffic? Search console is telling me that I am ranking number 1 for certain terms but sometimes when I search that exact phrase my website is nowhere to be found.

google messed everything up over the past couple of weeks if you haven’t noticed by now haha nothing in their console or any other seo tool is true atm, shit is bouncing around more than a strippers booty when she’s twerking on the pole

Wow thanks tbh I haven't even thought about that lmao I just went back and looked at the key phrases I am ranking number 1 for in the US (I live in the US so thats where im searching from) and am having the same problem of not seeing my website.

Oh I haven't noticed anything. I started this site in June 2019 and have still been seeing a consistent growth in clicks and impressions, even over the last couple of weeks. What did you experience?
