Update and restart Scrapebox. (that didn't worked for me)
If not, go to Settings >> Harvester Engines Configuration >> Import >> Download Default Engines From Server
(that worked and I can harvest like a beast again

Hey there.. have done all that.. backconnect proxies are not working for me anymore after the latest updates.
The results come back as expected without proxies.. and not -

I am just trying to find a way to get scraping working again. With proxies at the moment.. nothing is returned..

Unfortunately we have had to depreciate the addon for the time being Google +1 has shut down, and the other services have killed off their like counts on external buttons. The Social Account Scraper and Vanity Name Checker addons are still working though.
Google can sometimes return different HTML code in the search results depending on useragent or even location, even if the results pages look similar the HTML markers might be changed. They have been experimenting with search results with favicons and such.
Try going to Settings >> Harvester Engines Configuration
Select Google and try "Test Engine" with no proxies, and then add a proxy. If you get results with your own IP and not with the proxy then just click "Save raw HTML code" for the proxies results page and you can view it with a text editor and check the code before and after the URL matches whats in the engine.
That's the great thing with the customizable harvester, no matter what changes you can always modify your own engine or add new engines to suit.

Edit: Its problem with proxies only. Scrapebox just rocks. I too had the same issue but now fixed after trying out a different proxy provider.

Is it a known error that page scannner has issues with exporting results/closing when used in automator?

There's no further discount on individual plugins, however we have a discount for the plugin bundle of all 7 plugins which saves $86 over buying them individually.
Yes this forces the latest engines file to be downloaded, you can do the same thing by running scrapebox.exe in a new folder or by just going to Settings >> Harvester Engines Configuration >> Import >> Download Default Engines From Server.

The same here.
Just purchased the scrapebox, but it seems like many of its futures don't work because Goolge blocks proxies.
I can't find any good ones.
It makes the scrapebox almost useless....
Google's cut all the proxies I'm using, plus blocked my IP address.
Yahoo doesn't return any results too.
Bing is still working with the same proxies.
Does anybody else have the same issues?
On the scrapebox's website they advising MyPrivateProxy.com
Is anybody using it for scraping nowadays? (backlinks, expired domains, etc..)
If so is it any good?
Any suggestions?

There's a stack of features in ScrapeBox you dont need proxies for. With search engine scraping such as Google, free proxies from the regular sources dont work too well because they are free, getting used (and abused) by hundreds of people therefore get blocked. You can find and add your own sources, this way the whole SB userbase isnt using them and they generally last longer and retun more non-blocked proxies.
Then you have back connect style proxies with large pools of proxies. These can work good for a lot of things and are a good solution for many peoples usage.
Then private proxies which work fantastic because they are fast, and have a high uptime and low latency and only you using the proxies. But for very large volume scraping it can get expensive since you will need quite a few proxies and/or slow down the scraping with a delay to help avoid getting temp blocked.

If we can trace any licenses with the details that were sent in, then the license transfer instructions would of been resent to the email associated with the ScrapeBox license. We won't send customer license info to other random emails.
Guys again, please be sure to save your own license details if you want continue using ScrapeBox. We are spending far too much time daily trying to hunt down people's lost licenses which doesn't need to happen if you backup and save your Email and Transaction ID.
I've just tested the Bing Image Grabber and it's returning results without issues. Your IP or proxy may just be blocked after performing too many lookups.
Also if anyone has any feedback etc on the new ScrapeBox Screenshot Creator addon, feel free to let us know.
