Indexed, not submitted in sitemap

Iv" recently moved a page to a new URL with 301 redirect. the page is appearing on site:example.com
but cannot found in search.
However, Google says "Indexed, not submitted in sitemap" the URL is already on sitemap as I checked and the indexing is taking to much. this has never happened to me before.

anyone experienced this before and was able to fix it?

GSC takes time to update. For my site, all links were in sitemap, but GSC still showed not in sitemap. They were all indexed as well.

It takes 2-4 weeks for it to correct this. I just checked GSC and now it is showing correctly

It takes time for GSC to update. So don't worry.

If you can see the url indexed with site:domain.com then it's all right. It will show up in GSC too.

Waiting for that much of the time is very boring. Google should fix this i saw bunch of other people having the same issue. this is gonna take more than i expected.

Yes it will be indexed only when you search with post link or find it on site:example.com

does your page has a sitemap?! i think not submitted in sitemap, points to google not finding your sitemap.

Yes it's already on the sitemap, i deleted my sitemap from GSC and i submitted it again. i hope it takes effect any soon

I think it needs much time to index the new page. If you have submitted your new page to GSC, that's good. Google will index it soon. Alternatively, try to use "Ping" service might be helpful. It just about crawling process that sometimes need much time.

Yeah sometimes it take too long to index the url.

if you dont want to non-indexed some page from any search engine robots then Use robots.txt file on your server.
Robots.txt is a text file webmasters create to instruct web robots (typically search engine robots) how to crawl pages on their website. The robots.txt file is part of the the robots exclusion protocol (REP), a group of web standards that regulate how robots crawl the web, access and index content, and serve that content up to users.

Basic format:
User-agent: [user-agent name]
Disallow: [URL string not to be crawled]
Allow: [the URL path in of a subdirectory, within a blocked parent directory, that you want to unblock]

You can set the User-agent command to apply to all web crawlers by listing an asterisk (*) as in the example below:
User-agent: *

The problem is solved for me, after I found SITEMAP-XML was causing the issue

Switched to YOAST sitemap and the issue was solved in just seconds.

Try Yoast sitemap.
