Suggestion on Keyword density on Keyphrase required

"So, i am writing an article that is about 3500 words , i am confuse about, KEYWORD DENSITY ON MAIN KEYWORD ( contain 4 words) example : "car parking in Vienna" what shoud be the appropriate kd for it".

What should i do ?
shall i try to make the keyphrase density around 2-3%, if i do that car and vienna will also be repeated multiple times, is that ok ?

Or is there any other way.

Write your article without thinking about keyword density, publish it, submit to google for indexing and sit back and watch how it ranks. Give it a couple of weeks for things to settle. If it doesn't rank, lower your keyword density if it's high, or bump it up if it's low. Resubmit to google index, sit back grab a beer and watch. With fairly good on-page SEO you should end up on the 4-5th page of SERP without links, that's a rough estimate as it also depends on competition and how difficult it is to rank is the keyword. There is no magical number, I rank well with low keyword density, my competitors are trailing me with high. The difference between us is like 2%, on a 1500 words article that's huge. Sometimes you can get away with high density by having very strong links. You need to test it to see what will work for you.

Man, you are writing 3k+ words article on a 4-word keyword. This itself is sufficient. Like @bahus said... forget about keyword density. I recommend you to focus on user engagement. Do the nice formatting, have sub-heading, sub-sub-headings, use images, embed pdfs, excel, ppt, sound clip, make a video and put it on the page (a super good thing to do), put something for users to interact like comments, polls, thumb up, share, etc.

Do a competitor´s analysis for that particular keyword and/or analyze the content for the top-ranking pages for that keyword and check their keyword density.

This should give you an estimate of what you should be aiming for.

But in general, anything between 2% and 3% should be enough.

Also, don´t take this number too serious because more authorities websites can get away with a much higher keyword density so make sure to take this into account.

Also, remember to use a lot of related keywords and LSI keywords as well to target more keywords and drive more traffic.

Lastly, as @VinodChaudhary put it, don´t stress it too much about keyword density. Just write the article and make it sound as natural as possible. Beyond that, make sure to focus on...

• Satisfy user´s search intent
• Aim for a readability score of at least 70 in the scale of Flesch-Kincaid.
• Make the content as engaging as possible for the reader
• Add many graphic elements as you can (infographics, customized images, bullet points, etc.)

Right now , i haven't thought of including any PDFs or excel but social share signals are there.

I do believe you , it's just a mythi . but then again, in past few days . i have heard from so many people that those keywords should have some minimum repition
so that Search engines can recognize your content relevancy.

Once would be too small , but i got your point of not focussing much on single keyword . using more and more LSI for the same !!

2 to 3 % will be good. The keyword should be positioned in right place and it should be readable to the users. Have related keyword and avoid keyword stuffing.
