Keyword density may not be much important to end-user but if it is increased it may affect google ranking factors, is this correct?

Do I look like a clairvoyant to you?

When it comes to keyword density, it's going to remain as one of the most critical factors in SEO. The optimum density was at 2 to 3% back in the 90s. Nowadays, the density percentage ranges from 1 to 5 %, which is the safest bet. Without it, ranking a website will not be easy. So, continue to work on yours in the upcoming 2020 to improve and retain the rank of your site.

I agree that keyword density is a factor, but don't overthink it or overoptimize. Just KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid). Add a few targeted keywords through your copy / landing page, but never overoptimize. Keep it natural.

Number of keywords/ Total number of words) * 100
if in an article of 100 words you are using your keyword 10 times, your density will be 10%. you do the math

I never focused on keyword density but try to follow guidelines roughly after you rank a few you will get the drill.

keyword density is still an important part of good SEO. The fact is that the other as SEO start to ignore it simply creates an opportunity for those willing to put in the work to writing well optimized content.

Most marketers with any kind of SEO knowledge have moved away from the concept of keyword density by now. That's because there is NO optimal keyword density. That doesn't mean that keywords aren't important, but you should be working more towards using a variety of related words and phrases rather than focusing on the density of the phrase/keyword you're trying to rank. Google has a better understanding of what pages mean than they used to, so focus on user intent and include related keywords, close variants and synonyms if you want to rank.
