[Method] 'You Are Leaving The Website' Do-Follow Backlink Trick

Hey, hey!

I am pretty sure that most of you have heard and have been using various codes and plugins for your website(s) to give your visitors warning when they are about to leave the website when clicking on any external link on your site, right? For example:

The url structure of the website from the image above is: http://domain.com/redexit.cfm?link=http://blackhatworld.com

There are hundreds of these scripts and the thing about them is that with changing the naked link from the url and adding your own, it will redirect you to the same page but with your own website as a do-follow backlink (well, 2 backlinks: the naked url and the 'Continue' link).

It is pretty easy to find sites like these using various footprints (*cough*, *cough*, keep reading, *cough*, *cough*)

The website that I used as example is a .gov website and I don't feel like sharing it here. If you want the link, let me know and I'll send it to you via PM.

I have dozens of links like this on .gov sites. The problem is, most of these links are set as noindex and or very hard to index. I personally not using it as it's adding less value imo. But if anyone interested, I can share them all. :)

OP did you manage to get your link indexed?

I had a 40-50% index rate with these links.

The one that I have used as an example - no, I did not try with it yet, but I have others that were indexed. I am having hard time indexing any links lately after google fixed a 'bug' that I was using for indexing.

You can check site:domain.com/ to see if there are other links indexed or not, so you don't need to bother to index it if nothings indexed. :)

Are you using indexing service by any chance?
 
Tons of such links in gsa :). I have like 3% indexing rate, but late they disapear from the index. 40% indexing rate is perfect - the indexer you are using must be very good.

Not really. It was a 'bug' that I found few years ago and it was working perfectly until 2 months ago. Since then, I am struggling to index links.
