I have dozens of links like this on .gov sites. The problem is, most of these links are set as noindex and or very hard to index. I personally not using it as it's adding less value imo. But if anyone interested, I can share them all.

You can check site:domain.com/ to see if there are other links indexed or not, so you don't need to bother to index it if nothings indexed.

I am pretty sure that most of you have heard and have been using various codes and plugins for your website(s) to give your visitors warning when they are about to leave the website when clicking on any external link on your site, right? For example:
The url structure of the website from the image above is: http://domain.com/redexit.cfm?link=http://blackhatworld.com
There are hundreds of these scripts and the thing about them is that with changing the naked link from the url and adding your own, it will redirect you to the same page but with your own website as a do-follow backlink (well, 2 backlinks: the naked url and the 'Continue' link).
It is pretty easy to find sites like these using various footprints (*cough*, *cough*, keep reading, *cough*, *cough*)
