Is TikTok the future biggest social media ?

I know tiktok have a very poor content and not used by a lot of people who have more than 18 yrs old but the growth they are having in pretty much just 1 year is just crazy at this point they can get their 1 Billion User from 2 years

Do you think it have the potential to be something more huge and innovative than it is now like if they make their platform not just music stuff but also dominate the short video industry it will get them more people
Also what about marketing on the platform do you think because it is just the begining that they don't make their platform to make cash with ads
And what about bots is their a bot that is coming for this platform ? because i think it's important for us to use different social media

This can be true if they only got max 50million user but they are on their way to 700million! Don't you think if they get more innovative and help marketers they will get their billion because vine and dubsmash i don't think they were having this much success also i see even big company starting to make there channel on it like big football clubs bayern barca ... If anything I see Facebook adapting and trying to take them out as well as they have with other competing platforms. But then again TikTok is from the East and this can be what separates it from others.

Lol facebook trynna buy every new huge socialmedia platform tht thry forgot they have already one i think the the only people who still make money on it are spammers and who use ads but i don't think growth have a place on this platform just the fact that you have to create a personnal account to then use a page just this is an argument that show how much they don't care about us

Not sure, where you come from, but in the places I have been in the last few months I didn't see many people using this app. Germany, Spain and Thailand, but I can see everyone using Instagram all the time.

Yes i also think it's just a hype for that gonna end but what change my thinking is the number of users never an socialmedia that got so much download flopped or stopped growing also if you think it's just a hype what is for you the next big thing after instagram go crazy in 2025 and start aking for our id (lol like his psychopath of big brother aka Facebook)

I don't get what exactly is the big deal with Tik Tok other than just watching some funny and interesting videos that are really short!
I just started using it a few months ago and it is very amazing to see some really creative and artistic stuff being shown there, but I've also realized that I can just upload my own edited videos I take from youtube or any source and re-upload it on tiktok. There doesn't seem to be any copyright issues on anything, even little kids (who use it the most) uploading their stuff there visible to anyone which seems a little dangerous. Of course, now I want to ask: how do you make money on tiktok? Do they have some kind of monetization program or partnership program you have to sign up for?

maybe its cool application in europe or in japan or anything else but in my subjective in indonesia tiktok would become app that more people use tiktok for non useful activities such as sometimes the underage boy/girl shoot a video with weird dance thats why in indonesia,the ministry block temporary this application but for worldwide it become the instagram for artist and content creator
