Don't underestimate the power of taking time to do NOTHING.
Whether you take an hour per day or a day a week, mentally retreating from work and/or people is scientifically shown to be beneficial.
Alone time allows one to focus on their thoughts that would otherwise be cluttered by the common distractions that accompany our busy lives (we need time to clear our minds).
Solitude sparks creativity and increases productivity.
I challenge you to take 20 minutes out of your day, put your phone down, step away from the computer, and write down just a few of your goals and aspirations.
It's healthy to remind yourself of why you work as hard as you do.
